10 Reasons To Love Fall On The University Of Guelph Campus

Fall is my favorite season of the year. Fall at The University of Guelph is perfect. Campus is more Instagram worthy than ever, and there are plenty of fun events going on. Enjoy the rest of fall while you can before winter arrives! Keep reading for 10 reasons to love fall on The University of Guelph Campus.

1. The beautiful view!

Who doesn’t like to walk around campus with a beautiful scenery around you? It is specially a good way to wake up early and go for a walk around campus, get some exercise, fresh air and appreciate the beauty of nature.

2. Halloween parties!

Make sure to enjoy your Halloween by getting dressed and partying hard at trappers.

3. Nice, pleasant weather.

Fall is the one time of the year, where the temperature is not too cold, not too hot, not too moist and not too dry. The temperature just seems perfect. Make sure to take 30 mins of your hectic schedule and walk around the arboretum. I guarantee that you wouldn’t be disappointed, especially at this time of the year.

4. Pumpkin spice lattes galore.

Ladies, and Gentlemen, it’s the time of the year, where you let go of your iced coffees, and lattes and start chugging pumpkin spice latte for another month or so. You can find 2-3 accessible Starbucks around campus to grab a warm drink.

5. UofG clothing!

It’s the perfect weather to wear your u of G clothing without feeling too hot or too cold. Even if you go to classes everyday wearing the same sweater, no one cares; it looks cute and almost everyone does it too. ;p Also don’t forget those leggings and cute, trendy boots. Who doesn’t love to wear long socks with cute boots!

6. Pumpkin picking at Storms Farms.

Storms Farms is an amazing place to go pumpkin picking with your family or friends. It’s a good way to get a feel of fall weather and spend some quality time with loved ones especially some fun time other than stressing about midterms.

7. Trick or Eat!

This amazing national event where trick or treaters, knock on doors around Guelph collecting non-perishable food items in order to make to reduce the issue of hunger in the community as well as on campus.

8. Time to take a ton of cute pictures.

Perfect Weather! Perfect Lighting and beautiful fall colors are just PERFECT for pictures. Fall on The University of Guelph campus makes for a perfect backdrop.

9. Halloween Haunted House in the science complex.

The college of Biological Sciences organized a haunted house in the Science Complex. It was totally worth the experience. If you haven’t checked it out, you should next year.
