10 Hikes Near Toronto That Anyone Looking To Escape Can Get To

As the weather finally gets nicer and we move from the freezing winter ice storms to the wonderful warmth of summer, it only makes sense that us Canadians want to get outside as much as we can! What’s a better way to get outside, get active, and see nature than going on a hike? Here are 10 beautiful hikes near Toronto where you can go next (think about all the Insta-opportunities!).

1. Taylor Creek Trail

5. Bruce Trail

Southern and Central Ontario, running from the Niagara River to Tobermory, Ontario, with main trail being more than 890 km long

6. Don Valley Trails

The Don River watershed is approximately 32 km from the Oak Ridges Moraine to Lake Ontario. There isn’t a trail that extends the whole length of it but there are multiple places to walk which you can check out at http://www.discoverthedon.ca/walkthedon
