As the new year progresses, festival season seems to be approaching faster and faster. The sunny side is getting that much closer, which means it is time to get right down to business. Like many other music festivals, one of the most distinctive factors about Coachella, a very popular music and arts festival that takes place every summer in the Colorado Desert, is the use of drugs. So, without further ado, let’s talk Coachella drugs and everything you need to know about them before going.
With it’s fairly recent legalization in Canada, as well as various states in the United States, I think it is safe to say that everyone that smokes weed knows why they do it, and everyone that doesn’t knows why they don’t. Coachella goers are bound to bring a few grams to start off the day “right,” but keep in mind that weed doesn’t only give you munchies but also dehydration. And when you’re in the middle of the desert and the only form of liquid in sight is the aftermath of 40 degree weather, you may want to reconsider your Coachella drug of choice.
Although Mary Jane may not play out in your favour, Cocaine might just save the day, as well as your trip (no pun intended). After three whole days in the dessert, I guess you could say you deserve a little “pick me up” every once in a while. So if you’re fully committed to standing up straight and being able to move a leg throughout the entire day, all the way up to those pumping nights, a little bump of energy probably won’t hurt. But be careful, rolling a dollar bill isn’t quite the same as rolling a joint.
Coachella is one of the largest music festivals in the world, welcoming thousands of music crazed fans from every corner. Point being, you are going to be crammed in the middle of crowds for three days straight, and if you through some Molly in there, you may just start enjoying all that “physical contact.” Apologies in advance for throwing any unwanted images in your head, but if you want to try this trip at such a highly populated event, beware of the consequences; no one likes touching or being touched by strangers. But Ecstasy is a different story; it gives a man a boner just by touching a girl’s hand.
Addicts say the drugs make everything all that much better. That goes for all the art showcased at Coachella as well. Filled with large trippy installations and even tripper music, the valley is the perfect place to show your love for the art and their artists. Whether you understand the piece or not, Mushrooms have the apparent effect of making your like everything more than you probably should. You can thank me later.
What’s a festival without a fight, right? Coachella lines up some of the most kick-ass headbangers, and with that, you’re going to need a little more passion and energy than usual. That also goes for all the fights you may getting in after doing Speed for the first time in the middle of seventy five thousand people. Trust me when I say, Speed really does speed up your instincts, more often for the worse.
Despite all the vigorous ups and downs of these long seventy eight hours, there is no need to worry. All the Xanax you’ll be doing to deal with your newly self-diagnosed depression caused by too many people, too much sun, and way too many people, will surely do the trick. Maybe you’re over it, or maybe you’re trying to be in it but you’re REALLY over it; just pop a Xanny and go with the flow. It will come to end…soon enough…I promise.
