Cold Garden

Located in the hip and trendy neighbourhood of Inglewood Cold Garden hosts funky décor and plenty of seating from long tables to cozy couches. Local artwork adorns the walls and pool noodles adorn the back of the brewery. The beer is cheap at $5 a pint and although they don’t serve food you’re welcome to order from the surrounding businesses which means you often see pizzas and other items being delivered to the brewery. The icing on the cake? The brewery is dog friendly so you can bring your four legged friend in for a pint.

Annex Ales

With a bright beautifully designed tap room Annex Ales is the type of place you can spend hours chatting with good friends, they have two core beers along with small batch brews and rotating taps so you’re sure to find something to suit your fancy. They also offer a light snacks menu if you get a bit peckish during your visit and house made soda’s for any non-alcoholic drink requests your group might have.

Paddy’s Barbecue and Brewery

Like most breweries in Calgary, Paddy’s is tucked into an industrial area just off a main road, they have perfected the combo of beer and BBQ. Toolshed Brewing Company

Toolshed is located in Calgary’s NE, a part of the newly formed “Brewmuda Triangle” with partner Red Bison Brewery listed below, you can easily create your own pub crawl to check out multiple micro-breweries in one easy trip. The owners do tours regularly on the weekend which we highly recommend because they have a great backstory and their passion really comes through making you appreciate the beer even more.

Red Bison Brewery

A newcomer to Calgary’s mico-brewery scene Red Bison Brewery has opened a glistening new brewery in the NE, with plenty of seating and a wide open space you can belly up to the bar or bring in a slew of friends to take over one of their long tables. They have a kitchen in addition to offering beer which serves delicious Panini’s made with local Alberta meats from a shop just down the street from them. Be sure to check out Morley, Red Bison’s mascot who watches over the brewery.

Grizzly Paw Brewing Company

A popular après ski location for weekend mountain warriors, Grizzly Pam Brewing Company has locally brewed beers and a full menu to help you refuel after a day in the mountains. Canmore is popular with tourists year round and the restaurant is often packed no matter when you stop by.
