Ultimately, love should not be defined by the time of the day it is expressed but rather how and how frequent it is expressed. Whether you are celebrating an anniversary or for Valentine’s Day, day dates are perfect for those couples who are adventurous and want to try something a little out of the ordinary. Besides, it might be a cheaper option than dining at those fancy restaurants for dinner. Here are seven activities you and your partner can do during the daytime to further spice up the relationship!

1. Hiking or Trekking

The perfect intimate ambiance doesn’t always exist in “bougie” restaurants. Mother nature has provided us with the best spots for having private time with that special someone while hiking or trekking! Find a large local park for a properly situated trail or if you are ambitious, try a mountain trail! Wherever it is, the best part is that you are being healthy and having fun with your partner.

2. Casual Picnic

If being active isn’t your thing, then why not go for a classic picnic? Finding a local park to enjoy nature as well as each other’s company is an excellent idea for a day date. If you want to further soak up the sun, perhaps the beach would be another great option. You may even consider waiting for the sun to set with your partner. It can’t get any more intimate than that!

People would agree that wine is a romantic drink and there’s nothing better than savouring it with your partner. For a day date, “wine” not considering going for a little winery getaway?
