Your home should be your sanctuary and your safe place, and your home decor shouldn’t cost you a month’s rent. Budget friendly boutiques are the way to go if you’re looking for unique, fun pieces to make your space your own. Here are 10 online boutiques with home decor that are sure to impress your walls as much as your wallet.
Calling all country girls! This boutique is full of the sweetest rustic home accessories that are sure to make you feel right at home. The Faded Farmhouse style is simplistic and versatile with just enough southern charm. But if you see something you like, act fast! These small shops sell out quickly, and their products are always changing. And did I mention my two favorite words? Free. Shipping. (on orders $50 and over… but still pretty great.) There are also 3 in-store locations if you find yourself in Tennessee or North Carolina.
At first glance, the home decor items at Apple and Oak are a tad bit pricey. However, if you do a bit of digging, there are plenty of fair priced finds. The sale prices are totally worth taking advantage of, and the vibe of these home accessories is somewhere between surfer bungalow and unconventional individuality. I highly recommend checking out their doormats! You’ll be able to show off your personality before your guests even get inside. Apple and Oak is your go-to destination for bold decor essentials.
This might be the coolest Etsy boutique I’ve come across in a very long time. These custom made shelves come in several different adventurous shapes and are the perfect size for displaying small candles, plants, or essential oils. With the option to add hand-painted moon phases to the designs, you can start to bring out your inner moon child. This Canada-based couple handcrafts all of the shelves, which will totally make a statement in any room.
The bright and bold colors of Society6 will liven up any living space. This site allows you to really pick your own style and run with it. Between the colorful geometric patterns and the oversized illustrated wall murals, there’s certainly something for you if you’re looking to shake things up a bit. The rich textiles will add a whole new level of dimension to your envisioned aesthetic. Check out their Instagram feed for some upbeat design inspiration. And like their bio says, “design your everyday with art you love.”
Pepper + Vetiver is your understated home decor heaven. There are several pieces with macrame accents that add texture and beachy boho without being too loud. The Adilah Moroccan Area Rug and Eloise Wire Vases are absolute must-haves. If clean and crisp is your style, this will be a great place for you. Grab a piece from each of their twelve collections and you’ll have plenty of serene vibes to bring into your home.
We’re headed back out to the country with this one, but you definitely don’t need to be going for a farmhouse feel to be able to incorporate these pieces into your home. The wooden accent pieces, like candle holders and decorative bowls, can be made either modern or vintage depending on what they accompany. Give your old couch a facelift with one of Ranch Junkie‘s handwoven throws, or give your kitchen cabinets a chuckle with one of their witty tea towels.
Let me introduce you to another Etsy boutique. Love to Art Co is for the inner traveler in all of us. Their products are totally customizable, and can be the perfect way to commemorate trips you’ve been on or places you’ve explored. The vintage atlas art is super unique and can even be fun to give as a gift. The turnaround between ordering and receiving is roughly 10 business days, but its worth the wait. Utilize one of the company’s large push pin maps to see how far you’ve been, and plan how far you still want to go.
Antique meets vintage with a whimsical twist at Miller St. Boutique. Based in Ohio, this shop has a small selection of home goods in addition to its clothing and accessories, but there are definitely some hidden gems. Dainty vases and lanterns are featured alongside homemade candles, but my favorite item has to be the days of the week coffee mug set. It’s a fairly new business, having just celebrated its 1 year anniversary in September 2019, so keep an eye on this one as it grows!
Okay, so the full price items at Celadon aren’t exactly what I would consider budget friendly (at least not my budget!) BUT there is an “Under 100” page where you can scout out home decor for under $100. Scattered amongst earrings and beach towels, there are eccentric items that will bring personality and life to your living space. Adorn your tabletops with the “Expression” planters and you’re sure to have everyone wondering where you got such fun style. (P.S. a smaller version of the pictured bamboo sun mirror is on the “Under 100” list!)
If you haven’t noticed, I think Etsy is the best kept secret for home goods, if you know the right boutique pages to look for. In addition to supporting small business, you’re also getting handmade just-for-you products that can make your interior design visions shine. Webbs We Weave has the cutest wooden signs, some with quotes that you won’t find anywhere else. Some are funny, some are insightful, and all are beautifully crafted. And for all my book lovers out there, there are some iconic lines from authors like Virginia Woolf and J. R. R. Tolkien scripted in a variety of fonts and textures.
