To make overnight oats, all you need to do is combine oats, milk (dairy-free can be used), yogurt, and chia seeds. Leave this to sit in the fridge overnight, allowing it to thicken. In the morning you can add whatever toppings you’d like. This can be fruits, granola, nuts, peanut butter, or almond butter. See, totally easy to make with whatever your favorite fruits are. Overnight oats are a trustworthy breakfast that takes little time to prepare, but contains lots of great flavor. One of the best breakfast meals for those who usually don’t eat in the morning.

Breakfast Parfait

Similar to the overnight oats, is the breakfast parfait. For those who don’t really like the consistency or texture of overnight oats, the breakfast parfait is a great alternative. Just like the overnight oats, this breakfast meal is also really easy to make, and it won’t take long at all. For this, all you need is yogurt, it can be plain, or any flavor that you like, fruit, and granola. In a bowl, or even a to-go cup, layer yogurt, granola, fruit, with as many layers of each as you’d like. And that’s it. Which fruits are you going to put in your parfait?

Avocado Toast

Avocado toast. There’s a reason why so many people swear by this breakfast meal. It can pack plenty of protein in, and can also be made however you choose. A good bread, and ripe avocados are the foundation to this yummy breakfast meal. Mash your avocado on a separate plate, then add it on top of your toasted bread. Add salt, garlic, for taste. Plain avocado just isn’t it. And next you can add whatever you’d like on top, be it a fried egg, tomatoes, onion, or simply top with sesame seeds.

When you’re having a hard time finding anything to eat in the morning, making a fruit bowl, or packing together this light kit like in the picture below is how we recommend still eating something in the morning. Having this prepared in your fridge throughout the week is one way to ensure that you have an option when looking for breakfast in the morning. On you next grocery shopping trip, purchase your favorite fruits, and when you get home, rinse them and add them to a bowl or Tupperware, add almonds or granola. And hopefully, having this already put together will encourage you to eat your breakfast. And if you’re still finding it hard to eat, take it with you on your morning commute. When you do find yourself hungry, you can have this at the ready.
