Boston Rooftop Bars You Need To Check Out

There is nothing better than relaxing on a rooftop while enjoying the city views and sipping some cocktails. If you are in Boston and want to experience the luxury that is a rooftop bar, stop by one of these rooftop bars and enjoy everything they have to offer!

Lookout Rooftop and Bar

A prime spot for watching the sunset or looking out at the skyline over the water, the Lookout Rooftop and Bar is perched on the eighth floor of Seaport’s luxury Envoy Hotel. Complete with an amazing view, top-shelf cocktails, and top hits music, the Lookout Rooftop and Bar is the perfect spot for a date night or an after work drink with friends. 

Sky Lounge at YOTEL Boston

Also located in the Seaport of Boston. Sky Lounge is located at the top of the YOTEL hotel. This rooftop bar is best known for its panoramic views of the city. It is also known by Bostonians for its prime location right in the heart of the Seaport District. 

If you are grabbing at drink at the Sky Lounge, you might wanna check out the hotel as well. YOTEL’s guests rooms are known as “cabins,” and they feature an adjustable SmartBed, a flat screen TV, and a private bathroom with monsoon rain showers. The hotel rooms are spacious, modern, and cozy. After grabbing a drink at the Sky Lounge, you will not want to stay anywhere else but downstairs at the YOTEL hotel!

Rooftop@Revere

This cool spot is located where the Theater District meets Back Bay, and sits on top on the Revere Hotel. Many people know this hangout spot as one of the liveliest rooftops in the city. 

The Rooftop@Revere is a seven-story-high hangout spot with a beautifully distracting view of the city and all it holds. The greatest part about this rooftop is the price. If you don’t want to purchase a day pass, you can enjoy the rooftop for free after 5pm. 

Legal Harborside

The Legal Harborside rooftop is not at all what one would think of when they think of Legal Harborside. Unlike the elegant restaurant with posh dishes and semi formal attire, the rooftop deck and bar is bustling with people. 

The Legal Harborside rooftop is the go to for after-work and pre-concert crowds. Complete with a retractable roof, you can often find people up here enjoying the skyline and snacking on sushi! 

Globe Bar & Cafe

This constantly busy spot is often consumed with a mix of Back Bay workers and tourist. The conveniency of it’s location being near Copley Square, accounts for it’s large number of customers daily. The reasonable prices also add to the appeal of the bar. While it is definitely more enjoyable in warmer weather, The Globe Bare & Cafe rooftop is one of the neighborhoods most popular rooftops for outdoor drinking and dining. 

The Baseball Tavern

Calling all Red Sox fans! The Baseball Tavern has the rooftop bar for you! This is the rooftop bar for sports lovers everywhere. Complete with a mini-replica of the Green Monster, Red Sox fans get all the baseball feels. The rooftop deck includes an atmosphere complete with relaxing Adirondack chairs, flatscreen TVs, a bar hidden under an overhang, and a simple yet tasty menu. 

The menu at The Baseball Tavern has all the classic game day food. Sit down and enjoy a burger, wings, chips and salsa, any dozens of more appetizers! 

Felipe’s Taqueria

One of the only rooftop bars that serves authentic Mexican cuisine is Felipe’s Taqueria. Felipe’s Taqueria is unique and fun, offering all the culture of Mexico. Felipe’s Taqueria is located in  Harvard Square and is often packed with happy customers. 

As you sit up top and become part of this rooftop fiesta, you can sip on some fresh-squeezed key lime margaritas, feast on heaps of nachos full of toppings, and relax in the city sun.

Ristorante Fiore

This old school Italian rooftop gives off all kinds of Italian vibes. As you sit down here, you instantly are overtaken with feelings of an authentic European café. Complete with a small sports bar, iron seating, and an exposed brick bar, anyone will feel welcomed, as if they are a part of a big Italian family dinner. 

Sit outside and enjoy an enormous wine list with a classic Italian menu. You cannot get the full Italian experience without ordering a Margherita pizza and a glass of Prosecco. Sit down, indulge, and enjoy as the Italians do. 

Earls Kitchen & Bar

Located in the popular tourist shopping mall, the Prudential Center, Earls Kitchen & Bar is a Canadian  chain restaurant that offers a globally-inspired menu of comfort food and a restaurant downstairs complete with fun adult games. The menu consists of a large variety of items including burgers, noodle bowls, tacos, and sushi. It has something for everyone! 

Earls Kitchen & Bar has a three-season rooftop bar, a lounge, and a Cocktail lab which feature cocktails made from some of Boston’s best bartenders.  So come here, grab a cocktail, play some games, be a kid again, and enjoy some food from all over the globe. 

The Sinclair

This Harvard Square rooftop music hall books nationally-renowned musicians nightly. It is a more high end option when it comes to the choices of rooftop bars, so make sure your are dressed to impress when you visit The Sinclair. 

Normally a bar for the music lovers and the music seekers, The Sinclair rooftop bar is known for serving American comfort fare, delicious meals, and a variety of cocktails. 

Daedalus

As a former greenhouse, newly renovated bar and lounge, Daedalus, has a certain serenity about it’s atmosphere. The roof deck is a spacious spot for customers to lounge around. 

Complete with large umbrellas, ceiling fans, covered tables, and flower boxes, the rooftop deck of Daedalus gives of a feeling of calmness with the little pop of color it gets from it’s various flower pots. This rooftop bar normally consists of a calm and collected crowd, as it is a plant lovers haven.
