Everyone one of us has been down the skincare rabbit hole. From moisturizers to facials, from tightening our skin to an everlasting glow, taking care of our skin is far from being new.
Packed with scientifically proven ingredients depending on the brand of course, like glycerin, and vitamin C, these magical facial serum sheets serve a real purpose in soothing and rejuvenating our facial skin.
Over the past couple of years, these products have worked so well that companies are beginning to celebrate other parts of our body like our breasts and butts. We know they need it!
New to the skincare market, 2020 presents us with the ultimate booty glow up and ta-ta treatment, girls boob masks, and butt facials are finally here and we are living for it!. You might be wondering if these actually work and guess what? I tried both.
According to dermatologists, incorporating your breasts into your skincare routine is far from being extra. So there I was, encased in a hulk-like boob mask not knowing what to expect. Strategically wrapping my towel in hopes that I wouldn’t ruin the mask from working. You may be wondering how I made it this far. A few weeks back, I spotted an ad for a ‘boob duo’ created by beauty brand Anese that claimed to firm your ta-tas. Let’s just say that I was a bit skeptical but I decided why not. I didn’t have anything to lose.
This combo included a scrub Named, Those Boobies Tho and a mask called, Calm Your Tits. When used together, they’re meant to be hydrating and gravity-defying.
My first thoughts were: How is a simple boob mask going to tighten and lift my DD breasts without plastic surgery. YA RIGHT, I could only wish. I went in with low expectations and to my surprise, the results were not what I expected.
Saturday morning is when I decided to do the deed. I was ready to make a fight against gravity. I was covered in green goop trying my best to avoid it from getting in my hair and towel, might I add an impossible task. I’m fairly sure I flashed my dog once or twice, (sorry Gatsby).
My first impression of the boob mask was that it was extremely smooth going. I smeared it on my body and noticed that it was a bit thick. It felt a little like toothpaste. I laid in my room awkwardly trying not to touch anything for about 20 minutes letting the mask dry completely before I decided to remove it.
So far my skin was feeling pretty dang good. No stickiness. No irritation. No desire to scratch it off. Once I noticed the mask had begun to crack and flake, I used my floral hand-towel and warm water to de- smurf myself.
My skin was noticeably softer, but firmer? Not even a little. I was kidding myself to think that defying gravity would be as easy as using clay boob masks. I did take before and after photos to compare, which I won’t share because frankly, I don’t think out relationship is there quite yet guys.
The glow up was real.
My skin was noticeably softer, healthier, blemish-free and it had a nice glow to it. I could tell that this mask detoxified my skin which I was very pleased about. So, long story, short: take good care of your ta-ta’s. Just don’t go expecting miracles from a clay mask.
Self-care is important. Here are a few tips you can practice every day to keep your breasts healthy and clean!
Sheet masks for your butt are an interesting trend in 2020 but don’t discard the idea entirely.
Over the past 25 years of my life I have seemingly forgotten about a part of my body: my behind. I do squats and leg raises to keep my glutes strong and healthy, so why neglect the skin? I sit for hours upon hours at my desk job, depriving it of self-care that I devote to the rest of my body.
But do we need to be masking the place where the sun doesn’t shine? The answer is yes! Derms around the globe are getting behind butt masks this year and here is why.
When we wear clothes, our butt cheeks are particularly susceptible to issues such as rashes, chafing, irritation, and pimples. Our leggings and jeans do not let the skin down there breathe causing them to accumulate dirt and oil.
Thanks to our leggings and jeans, the skin down there doesn’t get to breathe causing it to accumulate dirt and oil.
Hence why cleansing your rump is trending in 2020. I decided to try the Bawdy Beauty Butt Mask which is a very popular mask for the bum. This product offers four targeted options that are meant to hydrate, illuminate, retexturize, and brighten your rump.
With the bawdy stick in hand and an oversized t-shirt, I began to exfoliate and apply the mask. Walking aimlessly around the house I let the mask completely dry and removed it with a wet towel.
I did not notice a difference until a few days later when I noticed that I had a baby-soft booty without any blemishes. My rump was not lifted as the advertisement said but I am still happy with the results
If you suffer from chafing, blemishes or dry skin butt masks may be worth the investment. Just remember to be realistic about what they can and can’t do for your tush.
