Every time I visit New York, I will travel to Brooklyn specifically for Thai food. I am a serious thai foodie. Brooklyn is full of authentic cuisine and hidden gems, making it one of the best burrows for food exploration. These Thai restaurants will ignite a love for Thai food you never knew existed.
Straight off of the Brooklyn Queens expressway sits Hi Noodle, a delectable Thai restaurant in the heart of Brooklyn. Hi Noodle is an all-time favorite of mine, the atmosphere is relaxing and the restaurant has large open windows that let in the streets of Brooklyn. Their Pad Thai is some of the best in Brooklyn, donned with fresh veggies, crunchy peanuts, and your choice of protein. Hi Noodle’s stir-fried flat rice is to die for and their beef stew is warm and cozy, perfect for a chilly New York night. Pair any of these dishes with a fresh Mojito or a fresh whiskey sour, cozied up in one of the booths lining the walls, and enjoy your meal.
Thai Holic takes a new world approach to old-world ideas, creating an atmosphere that allows for the eater to enjoy not only the food but the camaraderie around the table. Thai Holic has an ever-changing menu, adjusting the availability of meals based on the season and the natural ingredients that are at their disposal. This allows the restaurant to ensure that they are serving fresh, flavorful ingredients every time. Pair any of their meals with a selection from their wine bar and you have the perfect Thai meal.
Opened in 2016, Dannee Thai has become one of the best known Thai restaurants in Brooklyn. Offering fresh, authentic Thai cuisine, Dannee Thai is delicious and affordable. Offering lunch and dinner specials each night, Dannee Thai makes it easy to dine in and out. Pad Thai happens to be my favorite Thai dish, ever. However, at Dannee Thai I will order the massaman curry and crab rangoons every time. The ragroons are fresh and bright, while the curry is cozy and full of fiery flavor. Dannee Thai offers a warm atmosphere paired with fresh, authentic Thai food and a divine drink selection.
Nestled in the neighborhood of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, Williamsburg Thai Cuisine pairs authentic Thai family recipes with a warm and inviting, homey atmosphere with a modern flare. The restaurant is inviting and warm, with authentic Thai design including lantern lights, bright reds, and warm yellow tones throughout. The food represents Thailand well, keeping the root of all recipes, paired with fresh ingredients and delicious protein options. Williamsburg Thai Cuisine also offers a gluten-free menu for those with gluten intolerances.
Amy Thai Bistro is simple, chic, and chill. The food is delicious, bright, and authentic. It is presented on modern, minimalist dishware, catering to the beauty of the food itself. Amy Thai Bistro is a small, family-friendly space with a cozy atmosphere, traditional Thai dishes, and incredible flavors. The Salmon Clay Pot is delicious and when paired with the Mango salad offers your palate a sweet and savory combo. Any Thai Bistro is small in size but packs a serious punch.
Winner of the Best Bites of 2019 from Around the World, Thai Farm Kitchen offers authentic Thai cuisine at two separate locations; Brooklyn and Seaport, New York. Thai Farm Kitchen offers organic ingredients with authentic Thai flavors and ingredients from Thailand. Thai Farm Kitchen also offers vegan and gluten-free options, the Vegan Dumplings are a must-try!
Created with love and passion by Dao Thong, Boran offers authentic Thai cuisine in a cozy, welcoming establishment. Boran uses ancient Thai culinary culture to create an authentic culinary experience. The restaurant has beautiful Thai decor and comfortable, spacious seating. While the restaurant is small, the food is large, bright, and bold with richness in every bite.
Pad thai is delicious, mouthwatering comfort food. It has spicy elements, and fresh squeezes of lime, crunchy peanuts, and stir-fried veggies. It has everything delicious and good for you in one bite. Pad Thai Kitchen creates warm, authentic Thai dishes based off of homegrown recipes, authentic Thai street foods, and the mission of promoting Isan cooking. The Pad Thai Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants for pad thai, they have perfected the recipe. I pair it with my favorite cocktail, a mojito, and my night is set. Taste their pad thai, the crispy vegetarian spring rolls, or the chicken coconut soup. They are all equally delicious.
This snug, the casual Thai restaurant is simple, cozy, and authentic. While they serve traditional Thai dishes such as coconut curry, fried rice, and pad thai, they also serve dishes that are not as commonly seen on a Thai menu, such as frog legs and whore red snapper. Boon Chu Thai Place is delicious, simple, and authentic, and just right if you are looking for a calm, quiet night out.
Brooklyn’s hottest new Thai restaurant specializes in authentic flavors and small plates. Tong tends to be on the more expensive side and is a great option if you are looking to splurge on dinner. Their food is delicious, the atmosphere is fun and lively and the drinks are ever-changing, delicious and perfectly tied to Thailand.
