Its been a long day, you’re tired and just want to relax. For me, watching funny videos always helps, and TED is a great place to watch something different. Some of these talks have not only been humorous, but very inspirational too. It isn’t just lecturers who are on here discussing about many world problems that we face, but everyday heroes that have overcome problem after problem. Here are 10 Ted talks that have helped me and will (hopefully) help you when you are having a bad day.
Ever wanted to know what would happen if you replied to spam? James Veitch has a go and takes you down the story of what happens if you do. This humorous comedian has made many videos where he has pranked individuals and is always a good comedian to watch if you need a good laugh.

This was one of the first videos I watched on TED and to have this little, peppy kid come out with all this is inspiration and life in him is truly uplifting. If you ever need a pep talk, this is a good video to watch if you only have a few minutes to spare.
Ever since she was a kid, Atencio has always felt like she has been different. This inspirational video shows that it is okay to be different and how to use that to your advantage. This is defintiely one of the best TED talks!
This is both inspirational and humorous. Although Levine is sufferer of cancer, she expresses how she has accepted death in such a positive manner. This humorous woman shares her experiences, past and present with reality.
Another humorous talk for you. Talking about the birds and the bees is always a difficult topic to do but Sweeney takes you through the story of how she had to explain this to her daughter. If you think you’ve had a bad day, this video demonstrates that everyone has them, no matter where you are in life.
This was a video I briefly saw in one of my lectures during my Masters degree. Zander is a brilliant and engaging speaker. It doesn’t matter whether you listen to classical music or not, this brilliant conductor and pianist gives you the chance to listen to some brilliant music.
We all procrastinate from time to time, and this talk is really relatable if you do. This funny and down to earth talk explains how procrastination occurs according to Urban and how it can affect anyone and everyone.
