Best Sports Bars In Seattle

Sports, sports, sports! If you’re a sports fan then you probably already know the only way your team is going to win is if you have a beer in your hand and nachos in your belly. If you’re looking to have someone else melt the cheese for you then you should spring off of your couch and head to one of these local sports bars in Seattle. Cheer on your favorite team, meet fellow fans and enjoy yourself in a city that is known for sushi but secretly loves sports more. 

1. The Angry Beaver

Canada is known for two things, ketchup chips and hockey. From the Calgary Flames to the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey lives in Canada. If you’re a hockey fan who lives in Seattle and are unsure of where you should turn to get your healthy dose of hockey games then you should head to The Angry Beaver. The only sports bar in Seattle that is also a Canadian bar. Sit back to watch the game with a Kokanee in one hand a plate of poutine in the other, trust me it’s good. Located at 8412 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle, this Canadain hockey bar has everything you could ever ask for in a sports bar. Check them out to see what I’m talking about.   

2. Fuel Sports

Ask for more out of your sports bars then just a chance to watch sports. Fuel Sports bars in Seattle is an experience worth living. Grab a plate of Asian style nachos, and grab the mic for some Karaoke. That’s right now only can you watch a wrestling match at Fuel Sports but you can also act our your best Cher impersonation on Wednesdays for Karaoke night. Not only that but they also feature live bands, podcasts and other great shows. Fuel Sports want you to enjoy your time in Seattle and join them for a tasty treat while you cheer on your favorite sports team.    

3. Sluggers

You can probably tell by the name of this sports bar what sport it tends to focus on. If it’s still not clear perhaps a pair of red socks might help you out…It’s a baseball-themed bar in Seattle. There is no sports bias at Sluggers though, the bar may be baseball-themed and you can catch a Yanke’s game there if the time is right, but they do also show all sports. This bar and grill features baseball memorabilia on the walls and has beer on tap, not much else you could ask for in sports bar.

4. The Lodge Sports Grille

If you hate watching the game at a sports bar, but you’re sicking of watching it at home alone, then The Lodge Sports Grille is the place for you. The lodge offers a nice and comfortable environment for you to watch the game in. Bring your family and share a meal together as the game plays in the background. With an extensive menu option, you’ll never have to settle for bar nachos again. You can even rent out a private viewing room if you’re feeling extra extravagant. The Lodge Sports Grille has multiple locations around Seattle, including a restaurant right next to the stadium so that you can catch a live game and then come over for a bite.   

5. Hagerty’s Sports Bar

Hagerty’s Sports Bar in Seattle has the whole sports bar idea figured out! With high definition televisions at every table, you can watch a game and feel like you’re in front of your own television screen. The TV’s aren’t the only impressive part of Hagerty’s Sports Bar, their menu isn’t half bad either. Try out their smoked almond-crusted goat cheese or ahi tuna poke salad, a far shot from your average pub-grub. Take a bite and enjoy your game at your very own table, now that is how true sports fans enjoy a game.  

6. Buckley’s in Belltown

Monday’s don’t have to be bad at Buckley’s in Belltown because they have all-day happy hour. That’s not the only perk you’ll be getting at this family friend establishment in Seattle. They also have all the major TV sports packages, so that you never miss a game, and 24 beer tabs with tons of local breweries featured. Not much to complain about on Mondays when you’re at Buckley’s.  

7. Bill’s Off-Broadway

Who said you can only watch sports when it’s dark out? Bill’s Off-Broadway offers a full breakfast menu so that you can have your eggs and watch your games too. Bill’s Off-Broadway in Seattle is a sports bar with an Italian flare, which basically means great pizza. Swing by Bill’s, which actually is off-Broadway St. in Seattle, and grab your self a nice slice of pizza.

8. The Hawks Nest

No, this bar has nothing to do with everyone’s favourite Avenger, but it is one of the best places to watch sports in Seattle. The Hawks Nest features local beers and has a classic bar flare. With no added frills or a silly theme, The Hawks Nest has everything you need to enjoy a game or have a post-game celebration.    

9. Rookies Sports Bar & Grill

Sports and Rock n’ Roll can be found at Rookies Sports Bar & Grill. This chain of sports bar has a location in Seattle that is just waiting for you to enjoy. You can enjoy the Rock n’ Roll memorabilia, tasty grub and a large selection of drinks while you watch the game at Rookies Sports Bar & Grill. 

10. Fado Irish Pub

This Irish themed pub will make you feel like you’re in Ireland watching a game that is being played in Seattle, you will basically be a world traveller. Try out their pints of beer or their house special bloody mary, served only on game days. 

Despite being originally from Canada, I am not a huge fan of hockey. In fact, I don’t like any sports at all! However, you may catch me at a few of these local Seattle Sports bars, even if it just for the nachos.
