Studying doesn’t have to be horrible. You can easily boost your studying effectiveness with a good snack. Most of already use snacks to energize after or before a study session. Those extra calories can really help boost our energy and get us ready to go. So munching on a snack or too well you’re studying is pretty common. Most students understand at the very least the importance of not being famished well you snack. Problem is, not all the snacks for studying we pick are good.

Those gushers you swear by might leave you with a sugar rush at first, but once it drops your studying is bound to suffer. That Z bar you packed may not be enough to sustain you for your long session at the library. And energy drinks? They sound like they’d be perfect for studying, but they can leave your worse off if you drink too much. Truth is, some of the snacks college students love for studying aren’t actually that helpful.

When picking snacks for studying you should be mindful not only of the calories or caffeine provided, but other nutritional facts as well.  Some important components you might not think of are protein, for example. Protein helps you feel full, so you won’t be starving yet again in a hour or two. Blueberry filled snacks are also a great choice, as they have been found to help improve communication between brain cells. You might fear that these snacks that are good for you won’t taste great.
