Best Sandwiches Near Kennesaw, Georgia
Kennesaw has some great places to eat. As it continues to grow as a college town, people may not know of some of the great places that are popping up or some of the old favorites. As a true sandwich lover, I have a list of some of my favorite places to pick one up.
1. Sweet Hut
There is a chipotle chicken sandwich that is delicious. It has red pepper, spinach, and chipotle mayo on it. If you don’t mind a bit of spice, I would definitely try it. However, don’t worry if that isn’t your speed, Sweet Hut has so many different options to choose from and I have yet to have something I didn’t like.
The restaurant is a great hangout spot as well. When you go inside, you will find students and families alike. It truly is a place for everyone. If you would like to enjoy at home, takeout is also available.
2. La Bamba
It might seem weird to go to a Mexican restaurant for a burger, but I definitely think it is worth it. Their California burger is delicious. The meat is well seasoned, and for me, that makes the difference. Too often the focus goes into the toppings on a burger versus the meat itself, but not here. La bamba takes care to season their meat well and the guacamole that you can add onto it is equally delicious, so you must go try it out. Since there are two locations in Kennesaw, you don’t have an excuse to not go!
3. Henry’s Louisiana Grill
Located in downtown Acworth, which is right next to Kennesaw, Henry’s has become a hotspot in the community. Among the other delicious foods, their gator po boy is a sandwich that must be tried.
I don’t know about you, but the first time I thought about getting it, I was extremely creeped out by the idea of eating alligator. I must say though, it was really good. The closest thing that I could liken it too is chicken, but chewier. If you’re on the fence about it, just try it. Would I ever lie to you?
4. Burger Fi
Like I said before, I love sandwiches and that even includes the meatless ones. Burger Fi has a vegetarian burger that is my absolute favorite. It has a black bean burger that is crispy and paired perfectly with lettuce, tomato, and onion on a wheat roll. If you are a vegetarian or just like meatless burgers, you definitely have to try this one. It is by far my favorite in Kennesaw.
I will say though, the parking lot is extremely small and difficult to maneuver at times, so keep that in mind. You’ll probably forget about the inconvenience when you eat the burger because it is just that good.
5. Mediterranean Bistro
Gyros are an amazing creation. Think about it, warm flatbread with meat and vegetables, all covered in cool tzatziki sauce. What is not to love? You can find a few places in Kennesaw that sell this delicacy, but none match up to the Mediterranean Bistro. Their meat is so well seasoned and the portions are more than generous.
I’m not quite sure if a gyro is technically a sandwich, so if I’m wrong, just let me have it. Its really good and you should still go anyway.
