Purses can be the hardest things to shop for. Nine out of ten times, you can never pick just one. You always want the cutest and latest thing, but you also want the bag to be versatile. And of course, you want the bag to be durable and to last you–that’s the most important thing.
If you’re anything like me, you carry purses a lot, but you also have different styles of bags that you carry to different places or for different occasions. The purse you bring out to for drinks with your friends is probably different from the purse you bring to class. Let’s face it- having a designer bag is nice if you can afford one (or save up for one). Whether it’s $100 or $1,000, here are 10 purse brands you will not waste your money on!
I’ve had my Rebecca Minkoff bag for almost three years now, and it still looks like it’s in perfect condition. I have a small crossbody one and I use it almost every time I go out–bars, nice dinners, family outings, it works for everything. It’s super functional and easy to use, and they have numerous colors and styles!
Another bag I use almost all the time. While I use this bag for a different reason, it still usually makes an appearance at least once in my day. I can’t even begin to describe how durable and chic this bag is–I use it to hold my books, laptops, wallet, water bottle, and more. It’s also great for grocery shopping, and it’s the perfect bag for a weekend trip. The best part is they make this bag in so many different colors and styles that you’ll want one of each!
I first heard of Dagne Dover from an Instagram ad and I can honestly say these are really nice handbags. They are most definitely sporty and are more of a “gym bag” type, but they are still stylish and durable. The bags/backpacks are made out of a thicker neoprene, which gives it a sportier look.
AllSaints bags are also great–the leather is super good quality and their handbags are more minimalistic, so you don’t have a lot of color options. Their bags are unique in a style sense, but still versatile!
Madewell makes very simple bags–you won’t find one with a lot of detail on it, but the bags are perfect for more of the casual girl. Higher-end (for the designer junkies)!
I have an old Gucci bag of my moms, and it’s still in perfect condition. Even going into the Gucci store or feeling one in real life, you know these bags are quality!
Sometimes quality over quantity is a true statement, but it most certainly is for these bags. YSL bags are super expensive, but you can tell it’s a well-made bag. If you don’t believe me, buy one yourself!
These can typically only be found in stores like Neiman Marcus, and they’re basically a more expensive version of Longchamp. Perfect for holding a lot of stuff for work, class, etc.
Just like the Maison Goyard, these bags are meant to last forever. You can give a Louis Vuitton bag to your daughter and it will still be in really good condition. Louis Vuitton is a classic, and it doesn’t seem like something that will ever go out of style.
These are like the high-end version of Rebecca Minkoff–super-nice bags and very beautiful. They scream NYC and Devil Wears Prada, but are still perfect for everyday use!
