Summer is a time to shirk those work stressors and go have some fun. But how are you supposed to know where to go? There are so many options out there and they all come with different price points and things to do. Well, no worries, we got you covered for the best places to travel for Summer 2020.
1) Colorado
Nothing beats the wonderful colors of mountains in the backdrop while the heat of summer turns the landscape into a wave of healthy vegetation. Colorado will be one of your most memorable Summer trips if you’re looking to take in the sights. So, if any of you are looking to get out of the city or simply get away from the hustle and bustle of work-Get yourself out to Colorado this summer.
2) Greenland
If you have the resources this Summer to jump the pond and go somewhere. Greenland might be right up your alley to get away for a while. Definitely more for people who enjoy milder summers where the heat isn’t overly unbearable but still a good place to relax in some loose-fitting clothing. Now to mention great aquatic sights and a place filled with a rich history of living off the sea.
3) Whistler
Looking to travel this Summer but don’t want to go far from the US? Canada is the place to go and even more so- Whistler. Located in the Coast mountains this is more of a Summer trip for those in love with the outdoors and doing some hiking while they are on vacation. The scenes here are breathtaking and untouched and will sure to be a more relaxing vacation for those willing to go just a tad off-grid for a while.

Taking our last Summer trip to a bit more of an extreme, we have Zermatt-located in the Swiss Alps. This vacation destination gives more to those inclined to mountain climbing or skiing while being supported by a quaint little mountain town with all the amenities you’ll need to have a wonderful vacation.
5) Las Vegas
Who am I kidding, all these relaxing getaways, where’s the action!? Well, here it is partner, Las Vegas. Probably one of the most talked-about places to visit in the states. If you’re interested in gambling or just losing some sleep to have a wonderful time 24/7-this is the place for you. Between the variety of casinos, nightlife, and generally shows and other forms of entertainment always being present, you will be sure to have a fun-filled time at this summer destination.
6) Barcelona
Summer in Spain? It kind of just rolls off the tongue doesn’t it? One of the highest-rated places for nightlife and entertainment this past year, Barcelona is another wonderful choice for a summer traveling trip. If you can’t stand to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life and need to be kept busy from moment to moment, then this is the place for you. Plus, even if you’re not interested in partying so much, there are plenty of great sightseeing tours in the area that you can go off on for your relaxation day amongst all the activity.
7) Disney
Woah Woah Woah, maybe we need to slow down here on the parties and nightlife, what about the kids?! If you’re looking to get away but need to take some kids along then you know you simply have to make it out to Disney. Plus, Summer in Florida doesn’t sound all that bad either? So whether it’s going on all the rides or just visiting the local beaches, Disney has a little bit of everything for those familial groups looking to get away.
8) North Dakota
Plains country in Summer, if an image doesn’t pop into your head just off of that- you need to travel here this summer. North Dakota is effectively going back in time to undeveloped and discovered America, while still have developed America nearby. Get yourself out here and track down some park reserve to wow your wild side and have a wonderful time away from home this summer. Not to mention the food there! You’ll find a few more rugged options if you find a good barbeque place in North Dakota, and they won’t stop serving you until you’re fully satisfied.
9) Iceland
Okay, for a Summer destination, I can imagine how this one would sound to most people. But Iceland in Summer is actually quite beautiful. A lot of people give Iceland a bad rap because of the name and the stereotypical beliefs that it’s always cold and unpleasant there. But this can’t be farther from the truth, at least in Summer. Fields of flowers and endless sweeping plains with a backdrop of beautiful ocean views await any hungry explorer and adventurer willing to make the trip to Iceland. Give in to that feeling of wanderlust and start making plans to head out that way this Summer, I assure you, you won’t regret it.
10) London
Want something across the pond this Summer, but don’t want anything too far out of your wheelhouse? Go to London this Summer and see what all the excitement is all about amongst past visitors. London is like a pleasant culture shock. Everything is different enough to feel like you’re someplace special and are on vacation, without all the negatives. A lot of people don’t travel because of language barriers or massive discrepancies in currency. I assure you though, London will not be anything too uncomfortable for you if you’re a newer traveler. It is a great place to start out of the states and a wonderful place to visit for a Summer vacation.
