The 10 Best Places To Eat Around Arizona State University

As I have class on both the Downtown and Tempe campuses, here are the 10 best places to eat around Arizona State University on both campuses!

Tempe Campus

Original ChopShop

Original ChopShop is definitely the place to go for Tempe students! They have all you can eat juices, smoothies, Acai/Pitaya bowls, and other healthy dishes!

Snooze

Snooze is in both Tempe and Downtown Phoenix, but in Tempe, it is directly on campus! The food is phenomenal and a great place to get breakfast with an awesome vibe! They play great music and have very unique pancakes.

Gordon Biersch

Gordon Biersch is on Mill Avenue and it is a famous brewery with amazing food! Their garlic fries are to die for and their chicken strips are a must try. You can even see their food in some ballparks for Major League teams such as the San Francisco Giants.

Culinary Dropout

Have you ever heard your Tempe friends talk about those delicious Pretzel Bites? Well, Culinary Dropout is the place for you to try them and you’re in luck! They have multiple locations and multiple other food items for you to try. They also have live music playing at night to add to their restaurants aesthetic.

Pita Jungle

Pita Jungle is a Greek, Mediterranean, Lebanese, Middle Eastern, vegetarian and vegan restaurant on Mill Avenue! It is definitely nice to have healthy options on a street where it is so tempting to get the tasty not so good for you foods! Pita Jungle definitely is a great combination of healthy and tasty!

Downtown Phoenix Campus

Cheba Hut

One of the best sandwiches in Downtown Phoenix is at this restaurant. If you want a quick bite to eat at this unique and weed inspired shop you came to the right place. You can order sandwiches from the sizes of Nug, Pinner, or Blunt and buy treats that are edible inspired. It is a funny place to visit with a hippie vibe and good food!

Kaleidoscope Juice

Are you in the mood for a smoothie or acai bowl? Maybe you just want some good breakfast or healthy organic food. Or maybe you want to start a juice cleanse or even just a quiet place to study. If this is you, Kaleidoscope Juice is the place for you! The juicery has everything from cute decor to amazing food and service!

This is arguably one of the cutest places in Arizona. They play great music and have a wide open area. They offer student discounts and multiple areas to study with your coffee from the coffee bar. You can also order pastries and amazing lunch and dinner specials! It is a great place to talk and make new friends. I even hung out with my best friend here for the first time!

Nook describes itself as Modern American with Italian Roots. The restaurant is located in the Hilton Garden Inn, two blocks from the ASU campus. You have the option of sitting inside or outside while the restaurant plays awesome 80’s and 90’s music! The food is amazing and the dessert is to die for!
