10 Best Places To Cry When You Just Cant Anymore At The University Of Illinois Urbana Champaign

Let’s face it… we’ve all had days when we just “literally can’t right now.” Looking for the best places to cry at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign? Look no further!

1. Your bed!

Whether it be a dark and cloudy day or a sunny day, your bed will ALWAYS be there for you when you need someone to cry to. It easily beats out all the other places to cry at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.

2. The Union

Let me tell you a little something about the union. From Einstein’s Bagels to Qdoba to McDonald’s and more, you can always count on the food court in the union to turn that frown upside down with its dangerously unhealthy food!

3. The bathroom of a fraternity.

We’ve all had those nights where we drink a little too much and turn into an emotional drunk. Contrary to popular belief, crying in the bathroom of a frat is indeed normal and is okay to do! (Don’t pretend you haven’t done it…)

4. The Shower

Grab yourself a loud speaker and blast that Maroon 5 “She Will Be Loved” while you sit in the shower and cry your heart out.

5. Foellinger Auditorium

Whether it be a crying girl on bid day or a stressed student who most likely just failed their midterm, Foellinger Auditorium has witnessed way too many tears being shed to count.

6. The Quad

The grass is always greener where you water it, so how about you shed some tears on the quad and help maintain that gorgeous green grass?

7. Lincoln Hall

It’s a known tradition here at UIUC that rubbing Lincoln’s nose is said to bring you good luck. Crying to the Lincoln statue and talking to him about your boy problems is definitely a must. Don’t forget to rub the nose after, though!

8. Your academic advisors office.

Sitting in your advisors office at the beginning/end of the semester is a stressful time for most students. Talking about classes you do not want to take and thinking about how much you don’t know what you want do with your life is never easy. So, don’t be afraid to cry to your advisor! It’s what they’re here for.

9. Basement of the bookstore.

If you haven’t experienced the mayhem of buying books the first week into the semester do you really even go here? Instant tears will be shed when you can’t find a book that you need for your writing assignment due tomorrow, or when the line is too long for paying you begin to lose your mind. Don’t worry, we’ve all cried in that hot, dungeon-like basement before.

10. Your sorority house

As cheesy as it sounds, your sisters always have your back. At the end of the day, you know you can always count on them to make you smile when you’ve had a rough day. Always remember, boys may come and go, but sisters are forever.
