10 Best Places To Cry When You Just Can’t Anymore At Florida State University

Whether its finals week stress, or the all-nighters getting to you, sometimes you just can’t anymore. Now you could always settle for crying in your room or with your friends, but where’s the fun in that? Here are the 10 best places to cry at Florida State University when you just can’t anymore.

1. 5th Floor of Strozier

I know what you’re thinking: Strozier has a fifth floor?? No one at FSU even knows about this floor, so it’s the perfect place to just sprawl out on the floor between the bookshelves and ugly cry.

2. The Bridge Lounge

The Bridge Lounge is located on the second floor of the Oglesby Union. So, first, you get a venti Frap from the Strozier Starbucks, WITH extra whipped cream (because you deserve it), and then you snuggle onto one of the many couches in the lounge and just bawl your eyes out because you just found out that your professor has already assigned you a quiz and it’s only syllabus week, for as long as you want!

3. The Leach

Are you crying or are you sweating? The world may never know.

4. Werkmeister Reading Room in Dodd Hall

This reading room is the perfect place for you to pretend that you are actually going to pass your Stats class and have a future as bright as this room’s stain glass windows.

5. FSU Rez

Would you rather cry about the $250 textbook you had to buy in your dark and gloomy room or on a paddle board soaking up some sun? If you like the outdoors, then the Rez should be your go-to out of the best places to cry at Florida State University.

6. Goldstein Library

Not only will you be the only one in the library (which means you can bawl as loud as you want), but there’s a room in the library with 3 vending machines, so you eat your emotions in peace.

7. Chick-fil-A bathrooms

The bathrooms by the on-campus Chick-fil-a are truly something magical. It feels like you’re entering a spaceship instead of a public toilet, and isn’t it always better to cry in a spaceship? Plus, you can drown your sorrows in a Cookies & Cream Milkshake, and who doesn’t want that?

8. The ASLC’s Second Floor Balcony

Down one of The Grindhouse’s specialty drinks, The Hangover, while you sit on the second-floor balcony and breaking down about the fact that you only have $5 in your bank account and it’s only the second week in January.

9. Your Best Friend’s Bed

This is the my personal favorite out of the best places to cry at Florida State University. Because who better to cry to about how you just had a two-hour long fight with your roommate about dish towels?

10. In the Westcott Fountain

Whether it’s because you’ve had one too many drinks and you embarrassed yourself in front of your crush, or because you know you’re actually going to miss FSU, crying in a fountain that is a certified swimming pool, is always the way to go.
