10 Best Places For Happy Hour In Quincy This Summer

If you’re in or around Quincy, MA this summer and don’t feel like heading all the way into the city for casual drinks before going out on a Saturday or after a long work day, you have to check out these places. Who needs yelp when you have Society19? Here are 10 of the best places for happy hour in Quincy this summer.

1. Waterfront – 319 Victory Road, Quincy

There is no better place to be for happy hour in Quincy during the summer than Marina Bay. Waterfront is lively, with a decorated patio that lends itself to beautiful views of the bay. It tends to get very busy, especially on the weekends, so if you like music and a bustling scene, Waterfront is the place for you. It is also affordable considering the location. It’s a great spot to meet up with coworkers after a stressful day to enjoy the sunset and sip some rose.

2. Assembly – 425 Hancock Street, Quincy

Assembly is one of my favorite spots in Quincy for lunch, happy hour, or date night. It can get crowded, especially on Tuesday nights for trivia, but if you can get there early it’s worth it. Also, it’s a great place to catch whatever game is on that you tooooootally want to see (which you definitely don’t just watch because your boyfriend is dragging you there). But the atmosphere at Assembly makes up for being forced to watching basketball.

3. The Townsend – 1250 Hancock Street, Quincy Center, Quincy

Low-key atmosphere, great food, and a convenient location right off of the Quincy Center redline stop. If you go, be sure to try the June Bug cocktail or Drunken Iced Coffee. If cocktails aren’t your thing, there are plenty of craft beers to choose from as well as wine! What more can you ask for at happy hour?

4. Adams Inn Pub – Adams Inn 29 Hancock Street, Quincy

During the summer when the deck is open Adams Inn Pub is the spot to be for a chill afternoon. There is a somewhat limited beer selection, but, you can still grab a beer bucket that won’t break the bank. In addition, they have fun drink specials. It’s a great option whether you live in the Boston area or are just visiting, as it’s attached to Adams Inn.

5. Port 305 – 305 Victory Road, Quincy

Another great waterfront view, Port 305 is in walking distance to Waterfront so you can do some bar hopping. The service is great, the views are nice, and there is a good selection of drinks from draught beers to wine, to mixed drinks and everything in between. It’s a little on the pricier side, but you’re paying for the location. If you want to avoid a high bill you can just stick to drinks that are moderately priced and enjoy the nice weather, water, and spending time with friends.

6. Maggy’s Lounge – 609 Washington Street, Quincy

If you’re looking for a great bar and quality pizza for happy hour in Quincy then check out Maggy’s Lounge. They have a list of signature drinks, as well as a selection of beer that is always changing so you won’t get bored. They also have a happy hour deal for half priced pizzas from 4-7.

7. Crossing 9’s Patio & Bar – 100 Quarry Hill Drive, Quincy

This bar is located at Granite Links Golf Club, one of the most gorgeous spots in Quincy during the summer. Side note–you will definitely be seeing lots of weddings while you’re there. This patio and bar is the perfect place to de-stress and unwind with friends or coworkers. It is the perfect destination for a low-key night outside of the city.

8. Sly Fox Tavern – 139 Copeland Street, Quincy

Another fun and mellow place to hang out if you need to unwind. They have a jukebox, which is always fun, unless you’re with a jukebox hog like me. It’s a good place for catching sports as they have lots of TVs that are set to different games. It could be considered a bit of a townie bar, so it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but definitely worth exploring.

9. Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar – 1472 Hancock Street, Quincy

Tuesday’s are dollar oyster days at Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar, which is pretty clutch in the summer. It’s been described as having an “industrial pub style,” with spacious and comfortable seating.

10. The Pour Yard – 210 Washington Street, Quincy

If you’re looking for a casual bar The Pour Yard is your spot, as long as you aren’t turned off by paper plates and plastic cups/forks. There are lots of craft beers and other drink specials to enjoy on the patio.
