16 Best Makeup Products For Your Daily Routine

Oh, the joys of makeup. I think we can all agree that walking into Sephora and Ulta has the same effect as running into the living room on Christmas morning. There’s so much to choose from and it can be hard figuring out where to start. If you’re like me, you try to come up with a specific list of products you need before you get there, but end up buying half the store. The items listed below are my all time, foolproof, number one, Holy Grail products for every step of your makeup look. Here are the 16 best makeup products for your daily routine!

1. Neutrogena Oil Free Face Moisturizer

This is definitely a product you have to use to prep your delicate, porcelain skin. Note the “oil free”. This is a major bonus so your face doesn’t get that 3:00 shine and powder room cover up job. You ladies know what I’m talking about.

2. BECCA Backlight Primer

This product is perfect if you’re going for the ‘this glow comes naturally to me’ look. Classy and effective, what more could a girl want?!

3. Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

This stuff is magic in a bottle, let me tell you. I don’t know how they do it, but I’m glad they do. This concoction makes your skin look beautiful and radiant from a distance, and up close, you can’t even tell it’s on your face. When they said ‘Naked Skin’ they weren’t kidding.

4. NARS Radiant Concealer

Being someone whose dark under eye circles come from genetics, I’ve often found myself at a loss when it comes to concealers that work. I used to either double up and/or re-apply my concealer throughout the day. That is until I discovered this gem. I swear to you, this was sent from up above. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

5. Laura Mercier Translucent Powder

Whether it’s setting the under eyes, touching up shiny spots or baking, this is 100% my go to. It’s translucent (obviously by the name of it) but it doesn’t give a ghostly back flash in pictures. It’s not heavy, and it doesn’t cake up.

6. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer

This bad boy is all you could ever ask for if you don’t have time to sit down every morning and perfectly sculpt out your eyebrows with more angles than you can learn in geometry. It works fast, it goes on smooth, and the finished look is very natural.

7. Great Lash Clear Mascara

Don’t even bother with the high end mega expensive brow setting gels. This clear mascara was the first product I ever put on my eyelashes in 6th grade, and now it’s the only thing I’ll ever use to keep my brows in place.

8. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Priming Potion

This stuff overall just gets the job done. Enough said.

9. Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics

This one palette has all the shades that you could want. It has your classic champagne color, a couple neutral purples/tans/browns, a nice shade of reddish/auburn, blue, and the infamous jet black.

10. Laura Geller Eye Calligraphy

Getting the perfect even line and precise wing presents a challenge to many women across the world. However, with this little number, your worries will forever be washed away. With a fine point and sturdy base, this liner is perfect for both beginners and experts to get the perfect cat eye with the least amount of struggles.

11. Le Volume De Chanel Mascara

I was naive to Chanel makeup products until my Aunt introduced me to this mascara. I must say, from the first swipe on my eyelashes, I was in love. This product makes your lashes look thicker, longer and voluminous. There was no going back for me after using this mascara.

12. Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer

For those of you who like to cream contour, I 10/10 recommend this contour stick. I bought it when Milk Makeup was first coming out and I absolutely cannot get enough of it. The color can blend into any skin tone and not only that, it blends flawlessly.

13. Benefit Lip and Cheek Stain

This line is one of the cutest and most versatile products I have ever tried. You can use this product instead of blush for a natural flush of color, and it doubles as a lip stain (and it stays on). You will forever have subtly coordinated cheeks and lips. My personal favorites are the Cha Cha Tint (mango color) and the Benetint (red).

14. Benefit Hoola Bronzer

We all know this would not be a best makeup product list without Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer. This is an all time classic product with dependable quality and reliable color. Its perfect for a clean contour, sunkissed face, or natural crease color. All around an amazing bronzer.

15. Benefit Girl Meets Pearl Highlighter

This liquid highlighter gives off a stellar glow; natural enough to strut on a daily basis and glam enough to slay on a night out. It’s hassle free and easy to apply to any part of your face.

16. Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

This spray really does keep your makeup on all day and night. It doesn’t budge your makeup when you first apply and it doesn’t cake up your face. It is definitely a solid setting spray and worth the purchase.
