5 Best Lotions For Completely Nourished Skin

While the fall allows us to begin to rock those fuzzy sweaters and flannels again, it also wrecks our sunkissed skin from the summer. The dry and cold weather causes dry and rough patches on the skin’s surface, which can be mild to severe depending if you’re prone to a specific condition that worsens this time of year.

Even though the sun can be argued to do just as much damage, the lack of Vitamin D makes these skin conditions more apparent and make them much harder to hide. So if you find yourself suffering from the dreaded red, dry bumpy patches of skin, look to these lotions to let the healing start!

1. Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion

This cream is regarded as one of the best lotions, which is pretty amazing considering it’s less than $10.  Made with ingredients like soothing oat and rich emollients, the lotion is proven to have benefits just after a day’s use. That’s pretty amazing considering sometimes it can take weeks before any healing to the skin can be physically seen.

The product is also widely available at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS, meaning that you should have no problem finding it. So what are you waiting for? Buy this cream to start that instant repair!

2. CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

A lot of lotions that are solely made for the body and could cause breakouts if used on the face, but interestingly enough, CeraVe’s Moisturizing Cream is one that can be used on both without that fear. Made with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, zinc oxide, and salicylic acid and vitamin C, the product does an amazing job at repairing the top layer of damaged skin in a gentle manner.

For anyone with sensitive skin, that is prone to breaking out in hives or turning red after using certain creams, I would recommend this lotion. Most department and drugstores should carry the product and if you find this not to be the case, the cream is very easy to order off of Amazon.

3. Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

If you are familiar with the brand Cetaphil, it’s most likely because you’ve tried one of their gentle face washes. I primarily only wash my face with Cetaphil, due to its gentle nature. Their creams are no exception to this rule. The lotion is irritant-free and does a wonderful job to keep skin hydrated and nourished.

Eczema suffers and those with keratosis pilaris have found that cream has helped keep their condition manageable. And even if your skin is only slightly problematic in terms of dryness, it is still a simple unscented cream to have on hand.

4. Jergens Ultra Healing

I have always been a fan of Jergens skin lotions. One of my favorites is their “Natural Glow Moisturizer” which helps you get that pre-tan look before the warm weather of the summer truly begins. But in terms of fall, you’re going to be less focused on a tan, and much more focused on healing dry skin. Therefore, you should check out their “Ultra Healing Lotion”. The product works wonders at healing rough and dry patches, around problem areas like the elbows and upper arms.

Mainly this is due to the use of vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin B5. Also, this product is the cheapest on our list ringing in at $3.31 on Amazon. To think for less than $4 you can have a super cream to last you the whole fall season!

5. Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Lotion

Through a combination of healing vitamin E and B5, this lotion does wonders in the world of dry and damaged skin. The cream is perfect to lather on after a shower when your skin is at its most vulnerable state. Like the other creams on this list, you should have no problem getting it at your local department and drugstores.

So what are you waiting for? Go and grab this product and start your skin therapy!
