10 Of The Best Herbal Tea Blends You Can Make At Home

There is nothing more relaxing than a calming and ever so soothing cup of your favorite tea. Not only is it statistically better for you than coffee with much less caffeine per cup, but it also just comes in such a wide variety of flavors. This apple spice herbal tea blends consisted of dried apple peels, cinnamon sticks, and a hint of nutmeg. For a large batch, take the dried peels of four apples, two cinnamon sticks, and a spice blender. Ground it till it’s a fine mix and add in a quarter teaspoon of ground nutmeg to the mix. Stir till it’s all evenly mixed, then store in a dry, cool place like your pantry or cabinet. When you’re ready to use it, spoon a bit into a tea bag, then steep the tea for about two to three minutes, depending on how strong you want it. 

Citrus Zing

This is one of the herbal tea blends. This is perfect for any citrus lover. Consisting of lemon, orange, and grapefruit, the taste is refreshing and perfect. For a large batch, take the dried peels of three lemons, two oranges, and one grapefruit. Ground it till it’s a fine mix, then store in a dry, cool place like your pantry or cabinet. When you’re ready to use it, spoon a bit into a tea bag, then steep the tea for about two to three minutes, depending on how strong you want it.

Who doesn’t love the warm and comforting embrace of a vibrant autumn day? Well, with this cup of tea, you’ll be transported into a time where jumping through piles of leaves are every day. For a large batch, take one cinnamon stick, a nub of dried ginger, and four cloves. Ground it till it’s a fine mix and add in a quarter teaspoon of ground nutmeg to the mix. Stir till it’s all evenly mixed, then store in a dry, cool place like your pantry or cabinet. When you’re ready to use it, spoon a bit into a tea bag, then steep the tea for about two to three minutes, depending on how strong you want it. 

Floral Folly

Perhaps you’re a person that’s not interesting in the spiced herbal tea blends, though. Maybe you’re looking for something a bit more on the floral side. Well, do we have a tea for you. For a large batch, take a cup of food-safe dried rosehips, a cup of dried food-safe camomile blossoms, and half a cup of lavender. Stir till it’s all evenly mixed, then store in a dry, cool place like your pantry or cabinet. When you’re ready to use it, spoon a bit into a tea bag, then steep the tea for about two to two and a half minutes depending on how strong you want it. 

Refreshing Breeze

Let’s say you’re in deep need of a breath of fresh air, just a tea that will let you take a long deep sigh of relief as you take a breath of fresh air. There’s nothing better than a sprig of peppermint tea to soothe any weary soul. Of course, one way to make this is to just take a sprig of peppermint leaves, fresh, and brew them in a pot of tea. You could even add a few buds of camomille and a bit of ginger to the mix, and you have the perfect relaxing cup that’s sure to soothe your nerves, a bad stomach, and get rid of any bad breath you might have, preparing you for the rest of the day ahead. 

Sleepy Sigh

Let’s say that you’re looking for something that’s the most calming and relaxing tea in your arsenal of herbal tea blends. Well, is this the one for you. Mixing together a handful of dried lavender buds, then mix a handful of chamomile buds. The exact amount for this blend doesn’t really matter so much as both are flavors that can be easily balanced out with one another. For personal taste and preference, it would be recommended to experiment with the proportions to see what exactly would be best for you for your sleepy sigh herbal tea blends.
