You can even personalize the case with your name, an emoji, or date for free! You also have the freedom to wear only one, or both air pods, and they would still work the same. They’re also lightweight, and perfect for travel.

5. Powerbeats Pro – Totally Wireless Earphones

If you’re a fan of the Beats earphones, but don’t want the wire in the back, these are a good option! The sound is clear, the bass is well controlled, and you really do start to notice sounds you never heard before in tracks. 12. COWIN E7 Pro Headphones

Another set of noise-canceling headphones, these headphones have upgraded ear cushions so that you are comfortable and soft. They also promise a quick and stable Bluetooth connection. Their sound quality is intense and crisp, allowing you to experience your music in the best way possible. These are also a much cheaper option. Available in multiple colors.

Promising review: “Although I would say that the Bose QuietComforts are prettier, these actually sound better to me (particularly in regard to the bass response), and are a fraction of the cost. Easy to connect with your phone or Bluetooth capable devices. The construction seems sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap. One small advantage over the Bose is that there is a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack connection if you want to plug in the headphones directly, whereas the Bose requires a specialized cable with a custom small jack. So far has great battery life with moderate use.”

13. Method Active Wireless Earbud

If you love earbuds but are looking for a cheaper option than the AirPods, this could be a good alternative! Skullcandy is a popular brand when it comes to headphones known for their cost-effectiveness and quality. These earbuds are similar to the Beats, where they have earbuds and a wire strap around the back of your head for extra security.

If you are actually looking for something with a wire that connects to your phone, they still exist! Here’s another affordable option from Skullcandy.

Promising review: “I’ve tried other earphones but nothing seems to work better with my iPhone than my Skullcandy earbuds! I can hear others, they can hear me and their really a comfortable fit for my ear. It’s not even worth trying different brands any more 🙂 Thanks Skullcandy!”

Here’s one more option if you’re looking to plug in your headphones. The JBL is a different shape than the Skullcandy so check them out to see which one you prefer! They also come in multiple colors.
