Best Fall TV Viewing Schedule

With summer finally coming to a close, there are so many popular TV shows that are now over. If you were a long time fan of Game Of Thrones, you might be looking for some new stuff to look forward to watching during the fall! Fear not, because there are countless fall TV shows that are right up your alley, no matter which genre you like to watch. With that being said, here is the best fall TV viewing schedule  you can have for the upcoming season!

Riverdale – Season 4

Riverdale is one of the most popular TV shows on the planet, and if you already watch it, you know exactly why. It comes back for the fourth season in October, with a whole new set of thrills and mysteries in the town of Riverdale.

Don’t get me wrong, the show is extremely corny. Sometimes you will wonder why you even watch it (after listening to one of Veronica’s speeches, you will understand why I say this), but while corny, it also provides top notch entertainment. You are constantly glued to your seat wondering who is involved in which murder (which there are quite a good number of), or who is going to date who.

I put this at the top of our fall TV viewing schedule, especially if you do not watch the show already. It is readily available for  your fall binging on Netflix, and the episodes are aired once each week.

The Flash – Season 6

The flash wrapped up an exciting fifth season earlier this year, and continues to go strong into its upcoming sixth. Whether you are a fan of superheros, DC, the flash, or just enjoy fast paced action, this show is great! It comes back on TV on October 8th.

You follow Barry Allen and his adventure to become not only the city’s only hope, but a better person. Although he is the fastest man on the planet, there are many moments where you get to see how real and human Barry is, as he shares regular worries that normal people have. The show is really well written, and is also available on Netflix for your binging (Don’t worry, I am not one who spoils anything).

Titans – Season 2

If you find The Flash’s fighting scenes or PG nature too mild for you, give Titans a shot! Of course, I love both shows, so that is also an option. Since it is made directly by DC themselves, they spare no expense in making this exactly how the audience would want.

Titans is gory, extremely violent, Non politically correct, and everything you want it to be. Unlike most other superhero shows, our heroes have no problem killing those who deserve it, making it quite unique. You follow Robin, Starfire, Raven, and Beastboy (the original Teen Titans) through their personal struggles to find themselves, in a post Batman world.

Keep in mind, you can only watch the show on DC’s new streaming service. It comes back for its second season on September 6th.

American Horror Story – Season 9

American Horror Story is a very unique show. It is coming back for it’s ninth season on September 18th. If you have never seen this show, you must start it this fall! Each season is a completely different story, with a different setting. However, the general cast usually remains the same.

The storylines are intriguing, interesting, and very scary. You get fully immersed into each and every character, and they often have famous guest stars (season 5 features Lady Gaga as one of the main characters). Keep in mind that there are many jump scares in this show, and it will leave you not only grossed out, but frightened (you have been warned).

If you are a horror fan, or just want a show where you can cuddle with your partner very easily, American Horror Story is perfect for you!

The Good Doctor – Season 3

The good doctor is a relatively new show, and has one of the highest ratings on television right now. You follow the life of Shaun Murphy, an autistic and ambitious surgeon resident. The show has insanely high ratings for a reason, it is so well made, sheds a positive light on autism, and shows that no matter what condition you may have, you can achieve your dreams.

It returns on September 23rd, and if you do not watch it already, you need to hop on it this fall. It features one of the best actors ever on television, Freddie Highmore. If you do not know who that is, he is the main character (Norman Bates) from the critically acclaimed ‘Bates Motel’.

Freddie brings Shaun’s challenges, love interest, and overall lifestyle to life, making you more emotionally connected to a doctor with autism than you would have ever imagined. Definitely worth a watch this fall season!

Supernatural – Season 15

Supernatural is one of the longest running shows on mainstream television (since 2005!). On the small chance that you do not know what this intense show is about, you step into the shoes of renowned monster hunters Sam and Dean and see the world from their perspective.

You see the relationships they form, the people they lose, and all the supernatural beings they have to face. It is such an interesting point of view, as the show involves all deities (from God, to gods from greek mythology, to cupid himself)!

They make friends with angels,  make deals with demons, get possessed constantly, and yet, always come out on top. The show is very interesting, and adding it to your fall TV viewing schedule will get you immediately hooked on it. It returns for its 15th season on October 10th, so make sure you are all caught up by then!

That is our fall TV viewing schedule! Let us know in the comments which shows you plan on watching this upcoming fall season, and why they interest you so much!
