Europe is the old world – full of culture, art, history, old buildings, fascinating nature, and amazing museums. It’s the continent that plants the start of many movements and ideas. It’s the modern cradle of culture. Have you ever heard the expression: ”Paris is always a good idea!” I would say that Europe, in general, is always a good idea and here are some beautiful European cities you should definitely try to visit this summer!

Dubrovnik

This city in Southern Croatia which is fronting the Adriatic sea is definitely a must-see destination. Full of museums and history, including the Old City of Dubrovnik, this place is real magic. While there, you can also check out the many different islands that are around the city of Dubrovnik. An interesting is that 19 filming locations from the super-popular TV show ”Game of Thrones” took place exactly in this ancient city in Croatia.

Barcelona

Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, is known for its art and architecture. Sagrada Família is one of the most popular buildings in Barcelona and it’s definitely an eye candy for any traveler. There are also a lot of fun activities since Barca is known for a city with a mostly younger population, so the nightlife is also one of the best. Barcelona is one of the main tourist attractions in Spain and if you don’t see it during your Europe trip, you are definitely missing out!

Amalfi

Amalfi is a town in a dramatic natural setting below steep cliffs on Italy’s southwest coast. Amalfi is the main town of the coast and today it’s one of the main tourist destinations along with other towns on the same coast, such as Positano, Ravello, and others. Amalfi is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Italy, in general, is one of the most amazing countries to visit while in Europe and if you haven’t seen it during your lifetime, what did you even live for?

Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital. The city is known for its artistic heritage, it’s canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. These are just some of the amazing things you could see if you decide to visit Amsterdam. Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are numerous bike paths. Biking is a must and it’s truly the best way to see the beauty of this city during the summer season.
