Austin, Texas is a beautiful city filled with some pretty tasty and memorable coffee shops. Here are a few of the best ones that you need to try ASAP!
Mozart’s Coffee Roasters is one of the coolest coffee shops you can find! They have so many delicious options of coffee that are roasted in-house as well as some tasty baked treats and pastries. They also have kombucha on tap!
Besides all of the delicious coffee and food they have to offer, they also have a totally unique and beautiful location. Mozart’s Coffee Roasters is located right on the edge of Lake Austin.
You can choose to sit outside on any level of their beautiful wooden deck, or opt to sit inside where you can still see the beautiful waters through the window walls! If you go during Christmas time you’ll get to enjoy all of their famous Christmas lights and decorations and even some live Christmas music!
Don’t worry if you can’t make it during the holidays, they still have live music every once in a while even when it’s not Christmas. Mozart’s is a great place to go on a date, study, have a meeting, or just grab a coffee! It’s probably one of the all-around best coffee shops in Austin, Texas.

Bennu Coffee is also another great place to grab a cup of coffee! During the school year, it’s a very quiet place and it’s open 24 hours with free wifi which makes it a great place to get some studying done.
They also specialize in gourmet mochas, but my personal favorite drink from Bennu is the honey cream latte!
They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and pastries so don’t worry if you get hungry! I usually grab a delicious slice of pizza but they have lots of other options too. Click here to check out Bennu Coffee’s website!
Jo’s Coffee Shop is one of the coolest coffee shops that has locations all over town. They don’t just specialize in delicious coffee, but they also offer some pretty tasty breakfast tacos! I’d recommend getting there early because they sell out fast!
They also offer BBQ, burgers, and cold beer at different locations. If you’re just going for coffee though, I’d definitely recommend the iced turbo. It is a creamy chocolaty hazelnut iced coffee that’ll blow your mind! Click here to visit their website.
The Buzz Mill is probably my personal favorite coffee shop! It’s located in Riverside just minutes away from Rainey Street. The vibe of this place reminds me of going to camp, and the inside is beautifully decorated like a log cabin! This place has a really cool vibe that you honestly can’t get anywhere else.
The Buzz Mill is open 24 hours and they also serve cold beer, in house elixirs, and tea! They have events all the time and nice outdoor seating at picnic tables or higher wooden tables. There are food trucks in the area as well so you can get a bite to eat if you’d like!
We’re talking about coffee shops, so I would have to say my favorite coffee drink from The Buzz Mill is the honey badger latte with the flap jack latte coming in at a close second place!
If you can only try one of these coffee shops (which you should definitely go to them all) then The Buzz Mill is the place to go! Click here to check out their website and learn more.
