1. Pub Webb

Pub Webb is a sports bar and a live music venue that is located on Temple’s campus on Cecil B. Moore near the Liacouras Center. They offer a variety of affordable bar food and drink specials. The kitchen stays open until 1 a.m., so it is the perfect spot to take a break from your studying or after an event at the Liacouras Center. They even open early for events at the Liacouras Center and offer a variety of live music events.

2. Draught Horse

The Draught Horse is also located on Cecil B. Moore near the Liacouras Center. They are a hotspot for college students with parents visiting from out of town as well as for students who want to catch a game on TV with friends and classmates. The bar offers a variety of specials every night, especially on Wednesday nights when they have a DJ from 10-2. The cover for the DJ is $5 starting at 9:30, but if you arrive before 9, the cover is waived. You’ve got options when it comes to finding the best bars in Philadelphia for college students.

3. Blarney Stone

City Tap House, a gastropub located in various cities, has two locations in Philadelphia: one in University City and one in Logan Square, which is located near Temple’s Center City campus. The Graffiti Bar is located on 13th Street near City Hall, which is within walking distance of the subway as well as Temple University’s Center City campus and several music venues.
