Top 10 Beauty YouTubers You Should Definitely Sub To

YouTube is a growing conglomerate of individual creators that are busy creating the content that you enjoy. Maybe you want to get better at makeup, or maybe you just want commentary on worldwide issues while playing with makeup. That’s what Beauty YouTubers are for! Here are ten that we think will fit anyone’s needs and interests in a wide capacity.

1. Nyma Tang

Nyma Tang is our first beauty YouTuber, and regularly does makeup tutorials, reviews, story times, Try-On Hauls, and much, much more. She also does makeup tips and hacks in her videos as she’s applying makeup, so you really see her process. She has a fun, kind personality that keeps you watching the whole video.

She’s also known a lot for comparing different brands darkest shades in foundation and concealers, and regularly advocates for better and darker foundation shades for dark women like herself. Tang is such a kind soul!

If you’re someone who enjoys reviews, and many of the other subjects she brings up, be sure to check out Nyma Tang on YouTube!

2. Smokey Glow

Smokey Glow is a mixed bag, but in a very good way. Her channel is predominantly a makeup channel, but she also incorporates commentary on many different subjects into her videos in some way or another. She covers YouTuber news and drama, makeup brand launches and releases, as well as world news occasionally.

Smokey Glow also films many other videos, such as tutorials, Get-Ready-With-Me videos (GRWM), anti-hauls, and videos where she looks at new makeup and judges whether she’ll be getting it or not.

She’s very intelligent, and you can tell in her videos that she knows exactly what she’s talking about. She’s also very outspoken and doesn’t hesitate to speak her mind about something if it doesn’t seem right or fair.

If her channel sounds like just the thing you’re looking for, go give her content a shot!

3. Robert Welsh

Robert Welsh — a professional makeup artist and makeup YouTuber — does weekly videos on makeup launches, reviews, and also regularly provides tips and hacks on making applying makeup much easier. He’s done makeup for twelve years, and his whole channel is about teaching classic makeup techniques — per his words.

He also reacts to other makeup YouTubers and big makeup accounts. Welsh does tutorials, GRWM videos where he adds telling ghost stories to the mix, and so many other wonderful videos. Beginners in makeup can really learn a lot from a professional like Robert Welsh.

She’s very open about her life — whether it’s about her relationship experiences with her husband, or talking about her health struggles. She’ll occasionally do tutorials, but it’s not as often as her reviews.

RawBeautyKristi is the kind of YouTuber who’ll just tell you what’s on her mind. She doesn’t sugarcoat whether she likes a product or not. She give it to you straight.

Kristi is such an honest and genuine beauty YouTuber, and it’s a joy watching anything she puts out. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, be sure to check out her channel!

5. Jackie Aina

Jackie Aina is someone who regularly films a lot of drugstore and luxury brand makeup reviews — some range from e.l.f. to Anastasia Beverley Hills — and Pat McGrath reviews.

Aina is also a very big advocate for black owned brands, and often showcases and supports small Nigerian and other black-owned brands on her channel. She sometimes gives tips and tricks for makeup, and also gives her unpopular opinions on many makeup and fashion related topics.

If you’re looking to support black owned brands, and watch many reviews on a range of makeup products, be sure to check out Jackie Aina today!

6. Alexandria Ryan

Alexandria Ryan is a bit different from these YouTubers. Her content focuses a lot on makeup subscription boxes and kit unboxing videos; she often times reviews boxes from Ipsy, FabFitFun, Tarte, BoxyCharm, and many, many other brands.

Her content is perfect for anyone who may be thinking about subbing to a monthly makeup subscription box, or someone who just likes to watch what those boxes hold. Sometimes, with viral new makeup releases, she’ll do a review, but most, if not all of her channel consists of makeup subscription box unboxing videos.

Sincerely, Sarah C. is a much smaller beauty YouTuber, but overall, a YouTuber that does really cute makeup reviews, life updates and vlogs, as well as quick makeup tutorials. She also does a ton of GRWM videos and try-on hauls.

Sarah C. has that feminine aesthetic vibe that really highlights her videos a lot more. It’s obvious that she’s pretty genuine and a very kind person. She also does list videos of varying topics; some include makeup products for all four seasons each year, hairstyles, and many other topics.

10. Jen Luvs Reviews

Jen Luvs Reviews is another different kind of channel that is really helpful when it comes to makeup. She often does very in-depth reviews of makeup, and is quite knowledgeable in makeup ingredients, and will often explain what products do what, and what they are.

Concerning drama, Jen is very fair and consistent to either side. Jen’s content also consists of a lot of makeup news, and regularly talks about new makeup releases and brand launches.

She also talks a lot about uncharted territory in the makeup industry, often going in deep about marketing lies, whether natural makeup is a scam, and how brands trick consumers.
