These ooey-gooey, yummy cookies are for the chocolate lovers out there as this cookie has cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and chunks, and chocolate pudding mix to really pack the chocolate flavor in this bad boy. It is definitely one cookie a day kind of treat and you’ll need a full glass of milk to follow this down.
Though this cookie contains a lot of chocolate ingredients, there are not any other ingredients that are out of the ordinary so it makes these cookies pretty easy to make.

Beignets are usually deep-fried, however, I have found an easy recipe to bake beignets instead so you don’t have to go through the hassle of frying them. Beignets are a popular dessert and many people know them from the Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. I have tried this amazing dessert in the shape of Mickey Mouse ears in Disneyland. If you’re a fan of Disney, you’ll have also noticed beignets being served in the Disney movie Princess and the Frog.

Out of all the baking recipes, everyone should learn how to make homemade biscuits. Biscuits go with so many different foods, they are the perfect baking recipe to learn so if you ever need an extra side for a meal, biscuits can be your go-to. Pair it with sausage gravy, or bacon, egg, and cheese for breakfast meals. Make it a side dish to any dinner with a little butter and jam. Or maybe chow down on one for a yummy afternoon snack.

My younger sister is the baker in the family, and one of the best baking recipes she does is banana bread. This recipe has you making banana bread muffins instead of bread, which I think is super cool since it makes it easier to take for a snack at lunch and it isn’t as messy. I am not a super big fan of bananas, but I could eat banana bread until it made me pass out. I love it and so will you!

Apple turnovers are a classic when it comes to baking recipes. I always feel a bit cheated when I get a Mcdonald’s apple turnover. Freshly baked ones are so much better! Most people eat these baked treats for dessert, however, if I can eat a donut or sugary scone for breakfast, I can also eat an apple turnover! Don’t let anyone tell you differently.

I have yet to make this recipe, but I have made lemon blueberry pancakes before and they are so good! The tangy citrus flavor mixes well with the sweetness of the blueberries and adds just enough sweetness to the bread. It is a great treat for breakfast, or add some frosting and have a slice for dessert. Either way, you won’t be able to stop eating it.

Another one of my favorite desserts, and a dessert I might prefer to have on my birthday instead of a birthday cake. This strawberry rhubarb pie will blow your mind with how good it is! It is, in my opinion, a best when it comes to baking recipes. Don’t forget to add the sugar on top of the crust for added sweetness. This is definitely a summer pie as it holds some amazing summer flavors. You’ll want to revisit this recipe every year.
