15 Baking Recipes To Try While In Quarantine
Quarantine is getting so boring, and finding activities to do inside seems to be getting harder and harder. But, if you love to experiment with food and don’t mind heating your house up a bit, baking is a great way to pass the time. You’ve probably already tried some recipe and some of you might’ve loved it and some of you might’ve sworn off baking altogether.
Don’t turn away just yet, because once you see these baking recipes, you’ll be in the kitchen in a minute rolling up your sleeves to get your baking on! And if you really do hate baking, get someone in your house to do it for you. That’s what I do!
Most of these baking recipes are for the people who have a sweet tooth and can’t keep their hands off the stuff, but I have sprinkled a few savory baking recipes throughout to get some variety. So, turn up your AC and get to baking!
1. Quadruple Chocolate Pudding Cookies
These ooey-gooey, yummy cookies are for the chocolate lovers out there as this cookie has cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and chunks, and chocolate pudding mix to really pack the chocolate flavor in this bad boy. It is definitely one cookie a day kind of treat and you’ll need a full glass of milk to follow this down.
Though this cookie contains a lot of chocolate ingredients, there are not any other ingredients that are out of the ordinary so it makes these cookies pretty easy to make.

2. Baked Beignets
Beignets are usually deep-fried, however, I have found an easy recipe to bake beignets instead so you don’t have to go through the hassle of frying them. Beignets are a popular dessert and many people know them from the Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. I have tried this amazing dessert in the shape of Mickey Mouse ears in Disneyland. If you’re a fan of Disney, you’ll have also noticed beignets being served in the Disney movie Princess and the Frog.

Biscuits go with so many different foods, they are the perfect baking recipe to learn so if you ever need an extra side for a meal, biscuits can be your go-to. My younger sister is the baker in the family, and one of the best baking recipes she does is banana bread. This recipe has you making banana bread muffins instead of bread, which I think is super cool since it makes it easier to take for a snack at lunch and it isn’t as messy. I am not a super big fan of bananas, but I could eat banana bread until it made me pass out. I love it and so will you!

Lemon bars are one of my absolute favorite baking desserts! The tangy citrus flavor mixed with the sweet biscuit bottom balances each other out very nicely. You won’t be able to have just one! The great thing is, these treats are easy to save for the next couple of days and taste just as good.

Another one of my favorite desserts, and a dessert I might prefer to have on my birthday instead of a birthday cake. This strawberry rhubarb pie will blow your mind with how good it is! It is, in my opinion, a best when it comes to baking recipes. Don’t forget to add the sugar on top of the crust for added sweetness.
