When I think of back to school, I think of the transition to fall, wearing booties and patterned scarves as the seasons change. I often forget that school starts when it’s still summer, and my school shopping that consists of warm sweaters and new jeans don’t suffice in the August sun. This is a perfect first day of school outfit. It’s easy to style, will make you look put together, and of course is nice and breezy.
Mini denim skirts are a staple for a school wardrobe. They are perfect with graphic tees or blouses for warmer days, and when the seasons do change they can be worn with boots and cozy sweaters.
