While it’s only the start of summer, it’s never too early to think about back to school. You’re probably better off shopping now for the fall while a lot of those items are on sale! However, you should be mindful to see what is still in fashion and which trends have gone with the summer wind. Here are some back to school fashion trends that should be on your horizon for autumn!
Remember when everything was off the shoulder last year? Well, this year designers decided to pull up one of the sleeves and leave the other one in its place. It gives a little mystery about your look, while also adding some sex appeal as well. This slanted neckline has been seen in all your favorite stores and can be purchased quite easily. So it’s okay this fall to give a little cold shoulder!

Our generation is just wanting to break into the world of adulting and not only is it important to act the part but also look it too! Fortunately for us, it is now on trend to wear relaxed forms of suiting. Typically you can do this by pairing a blazer with some jeans or dress up a plain top with some khakis or a pair of cotton slacks.

This is a trend that always seems to go in and out of being in style. I remember a time whether it was no longer cool to wear leopard print, but ladies I would like to let you know it is back on trend this season! Plenty of stores are not only featuring leopard print but snake, tiger and zebra prints. So pay homage to earth’s creatures in the right way by modeling how their appearance looks, and not actually wearing them for fashion purposes!

While neutrals may have been in trend over the past few years, this year it’s all about neons! Clothing stores everywhere have bold and daring colors featured in many of their pieces to keep up with this trend which has been seen on the likes of Kim Kardashian, Haley Bieber and Blake Lively to name a few. It’s a new school year and therefore a new you so why not be your brightest self!

With the cool chills and rain of fall, you’ll need a coat that not only keeps your arms warm and dry but also your legs! Trenchcoats I’ve seen making a comeback and more their available in more women’s styles which is greatly appreciated as they provide a comfortable, yet sophisticated alternative to a simple raincoat. On the more chilly and dry days, peacoats are in fashion for this fall in all sorts of materials including wool and fleece I’m a fan of the long coat, and sometimes on a mildly cool day, I’ll even leave it open to act as a sort of extra piece to my outfit.

The people have spoken and they want comfort for! Before it was trendy to wear clothes you’d typically only wearing while lounging in bed, now however what you sleep on is seen as a look for Fall 2019. Tops made of quilt material will be very big this fall. Whether it’s pants, shirts, or even coats, this fabric will have you feeling cozy all throughout the fall months!
