If you haven’t had your fill of reality dating shenanigans between the Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Winter Games, you’re in luck! The creators of the Bachelor franchise are bringing us another outrageous dating show this summer. So grab your popcorn, a few friends, your Twitter feed and get ready for the new series The Proposal.

Here’s what we know: The host.

The Proposal, not to be confused with the Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds movie, will be hosted by Jesse Palmer, a former NFL player and Bachelor from season 5. Talk about throwbacks, but we won’t complain about looking at him.

You may remember him from season 5 of the Bachelor, but if not, here’s a little refresher.

The season will run for 10 episodes over the course of the summer, each bringing a round of 10 competitive daters attempting to woo the heart of the suitor. The catch? They don’t know who the suitor is.

How it’s going to work.

Each episode includes 10 potential daters and one mystery suitor. The group of daters will compete in four rounds, very pageant-like rounds at that, and face elimination after each. The rounds include first impressions, beachwear, Q&A, and finally impress a family member. Only two will be left by the end of all four rounds, where they will finally meet the mystery suitor they’ve been competing for.
