By the time we’ve exhausted our hot girl summer, we’ll be glad to know that Autumn is just around the corner. We’ll be sick of margaritas, tired of mojitos, and too cold for sex on the beach. We don’t know about you, but we haven’t had a new idea for an Autumn themed drink in a long time.
It’ll be house party season before you know it and we won’t have anything new to debut! That’s why we’ve dug up some Autumn alcoholic drink recipes that will refresh your menu so you can serve them at your next party.
Nothing says Autumn quite like apples and apple pie. Of course, we had to add this fun twist on our list of Autumn alcoholic drink recipes.
Ingredients:
4 ounces apple cider
4 ounces apple pie vodka or caramel vodka
1 bottle of ginger beer
cinnamon sticks and apple slices for garnish
Directions:
We know it’s another apple-themed drink but trust us, this one’s different! Besides, if you didn’t have hard apple cider in Autumn did you really experience Autumn?
Instructions:
1 cup thinly sliced unpeeled green and red apples
1 orange thinly sliced crosswise
1 peach thinly sliced
a handful of raspberries fresh or frozen
1 cup apple juice, chilled
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup apple brandy
One 22-ounce bottle hard apple cider, chilled
Ice
mint leaves for decoration
Directions:
Thinly slice the apples. Using sharp knife slice the orange and peach as thinly as possible. In a pitcher, combine the apples with the orange, peach, raspberries, apple juice, orange juice, and brandy. Refrigerate for couple hours (minimum three). Just before serving, add the hard cider. Serve over ice with mint.
In the midst of making this list of autumn alcoholic drink recipes, we couldn’t bear to leave out our two true loves; chocolate and pumpkin spice. This is a lovely drink to warm up your hands and hearts. Not to mention that it’s a crowd favorite. This recipe serves four drinks so share it with friends!
Ingredients:
1 cup white chocolate chips (or chopped)
5 cups of milk
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 ounce Kahlua (or sub half as much Bourbon)
Whipped cream and caramel (for topping)
Directions:
In a saucepan over low-medium heat, melt the chocolate chips and 1 cup of the milk, whisking often (about three minutes). Once melted, add the rest of the milk, the pumpkin, and the pumpkin pie spice and stir vigorously to incorporate. Pour a small amount of the hot chocolate into 4 serving glasses, add Kahlua or bourbon (bourbon is much stronger in taste). Top off with hot chocolate, stir and then top with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and more pumpkin pie spice.
