Traveling is so much fun and you get to experience new and exciting things but packing for it can be a chore and especially if you’re travelling around, you really do not want to be carrying a heavy suitcase. Here are tips on how to travel light to ensure you have a comfortable trip. Learning how to pack light will help you out a lot.
Ditch the just in case you might need it clothes and only pack the things you know you will definitely need. Skip out on bringing heavy gowns and stick to light summer dresses. Jeans can last ages so you definitely don’t need to bring more than two pairs. Avoid white clothing as it gets dirty quicker. Skip out on chunky accessories. I know you want to look cute but travelling is about being practical. On the plus side, the lesser things you bring the more space you have for when you go shopping!
Using products that have multiple purposes will save space in your suitcase. Avoid bringing a sunscreen and a moisturizer by using a moisturizer that has SPF in it. If you need to bring a comb and a brush, buy a brush which has a comb at the end of it so it saves you space. Products like argan oil can be used to the face, body and hair.
To make sure you aren’t bringing anything you don’t need, make a list of things you need and only pack that. Making a list will help you get more organized.
Do not pack last minute because then you’ll be in a hurry and just stuff your suitcase with the first thing you can grab. Trust us, you’ll definitely regret doing that when you’ve reached your destination and have to haul a heavy suitcase. Aside from learning how to pack light, learn not to procrastinate.
Roll your clothes instead of folding to save space in your suitcase. However, if you’re bringing formal attire, your best bet is to fold and put it at the bottom of the suitcase and place the rolled articles of clothing at the top!
