10 Amazing Places To Eat In Fishers Indiana

For those visiting Fishers Indiana for the first time will come and see an exciting city with so much to do. For those who are from there, all we see is a town that is just constantly under construction. One thing both sides can agree on is that Fishers has some of the BEST places to eat. This article will guide you into some of the best places to eat in Fishers Indiana.

*Disclaimer- the order of which they appear is not based on favoritism or a specific rating system

The Roost

This is my go-to breakfast place. Whenever my friends want to have a breakfast date, The Roost is the place to go. I have been able to sit there for hours and catch up with friends. The service is always friendly and the food is always delicious. My usual order is a herbal tea and the sunrise breakfast, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

Tequila Sunrise

Tequila Sunrise is relatively new to Fishers, it opened within the last year, but everything about this place is so good. I recently went for the first time with a group of about 8 people and they were able to seat us right away, we had excellent service the entire time, and all their food tasted authentic. The best part of going to a Mexican restaurant is chips and salsa and Tequila Sunrise leaves a pitcher of salsa on the table for constant refills. The salsa is delicious, but also knowing I can have a whole pitcher of salsa to myself is also pretty great.

Bento Cafe

Whenever I am in a sushi or hibachi mood, I always go to Bento Cafe. Bento Cafe offers a wide variety of sushi as well as bento boxes that satisfy all of my cravings. I personally get the teriyaki chicken bento box with an order of salmon nigiri. All of the hibachi dishes they list taste like they were made in front of me at a Benihana, but even better and with cheaper prices. Also they have the most delicious boba tea. It is a sit down restaurant, so if you’re looking for a nice place to go out to eat with your friends, Bento would be an excellent place to go.

Greek’s Pizzeria

I have grown up on Greek’s Pizza and if anyone is looking for a good pizza to take out, this is the place I would recommend. While Greek’s is still a pizza chain, this one specifically has much higher quality ingredients as well as in taste. Whenever my friends and I are feeling a movie night, I can guarantee that Greek’s pizza will be a part of that experience.

Portillo’s

Portillo’s is definitely not a Fishers only spot, but this is the only Portillo’s in Indiana so it is kind of a big deal. This fast food restaurant transports you to feel like you’re in Chicago. The restaurant is also just as busy as the city of Chicago, so I would recommend ordering your food beforehand on the app because you can skip the lines and have your food waiting for you. There still may be trouble finding a seat, but then you can eat your hotdog and chocolate cake shake in the parking lot with your friends. It’s a must when it comes to places to eat in Fishers Indiana.

The Well

The well is for every girl who just wants to read her book in a coffee shop or take a cute picture of their coffee. This coffee shop is very aesthetic and is also a great place to get work done or have a quick little coffee date. EVEN BETTER, The Well gives back proceeds to provide clean water to those in need by actually building wells. So with each cute cup of coffee or tea you order, money goes towards providing clean water to those without it.

Pure Eatery

If you want to feel good about yourself while eating delicious food, Pure Eatery is the place to go. The food is all fresh and works to promote local businesses in the area. This is also one of the only places in Fishers that is open past 9:00pm. On weeknights, Pure Eatery is open until 11pm and on the weekend it is open until 1am. My sister and I have definitely gone there at midnight just to get their crostini and pesto appetizer and I would highly recommend everyone go there as well. Definitely a fave when it comes to places to eat in Fishers Indiana.

Al Basha

As someone with middle eastern roots, I am always searching for places to eat with authentic and delicious middle eastern food. Al Basha is a god send and is truly both. They have two storefronts with one being a grocery store while the other half is a restaurant. They have a beautiful lunch buffet during the week, or if you’re wanting your own dish they offer plenty on a separate menu as well. I personally love their grape leaves and kibbeh. I would recommend anyone who is not the most adventurous of eaters to still give this place a try because I have yet to eat one bad thing.

Rockstone

Owned by the same people who run The Roost, Rockstone is a great place to sit down and order pizza with your friends. All the pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven and they offer specialty pizzas as well as build your own. I personally love their specialty “Fun Guy Pie” because I LOVE mushrooms, but they offer a wide variety on their menu. However, no one should sleep on their bread sticks. I could eat these bread sticks every day for the rest of my life.

Mark Pi’s

I’m all for finding food at a cheap price that is still delicious and Mark Pi’s would definitely fall under that category. I personally get Mark Pi’s when it’s a rainy day and I don’t want to do anything. I just order some chicken lo mein and my day is much better. They have a variety of food on their menu and they’re all at great prices. There is such a great variety of places to eat in Fishers Indiana.
