1. Watercourse Foods – Vegan Comfort Food

837 East 17th Avenue Denver, CO 80218

This is one of the best places to eat in Denver for anyone with dietary restrictions or preferences but don’t let that deter the rest of you. This place truly has a menu that everyone will enjoy! You won’t even notice the difference or miss the usual ingredients. They also have a cute little bar area in the front where you can order a drink or dessert to go. The neighborhood is very appealing and one you will want to explore after your meal or while you are waiting for a table.

Also, be sure to check out the Denver restaurant City, O’ City which also offers a wide range of dietary options.

2. Sushi Den – Sushi & Japanese Restaurant

1487 South Pearl Street Denver, CO 80210

If you are a Sushi lover and haven’t been here yet, you are missing out! This restaurant has had award-winning cuisine since 1984 and is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. It offers an ambience that amplifies the meal making it a full-blown dining experience. The fish is some of the freshest in Denver making the higher price point well worth it. It is the perfect restaurant for your next date night or celebration.

3.  Stoic & Genuine – Seafood Restaurant

1701 Wynkoop Street Denver, CO 80202- Inside Union Station

Stoic & Genuine is nestled inside Union Station and is one of many amazing places to eat in Denver. For seafood lovers, this restaurant provides off the chart quality and uniqueness. I recommend this place for drinks, apps, or a treat yourself meal. It has some creative cocktails and a fun atmosphere. The best part is after or before your meal you can explore Union Station which is known as Denver’s Living room. While you are there be sure to also keep in mind these other great eats in the area (Next Door, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, & Snooze an A.M. Eatery)

4. Corridor 44 – Champagne, Cocktails, Dining

1433 Larimer Street Denver, CO 80202

If you are a fan of champagne, you are going to love this place. It offers a unique drink menu that include champagne cocktails. The food is never a disappointment and I would highly recommend their appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. The environment and rich history will be sure to keep you coming back for more. Located on Larimer Street, it is in the perfect location to shop or bar hop. It’s the perfect escape to the past with a classy twist.

5. Acorn – Eclectic American Bar & Grill

3350 Brighton Blvd. Denver, CO 80216

With all the construction, this restaurant can be a little tricky to get to but it’s so worth it! Acorn offers amazing cuisine and cocktails. Within the same building you will find a cute little shared market space called The Source that few are aware of. I’m talking a florist, coffee shop, brewery, apparel shops, etc.

P.S. Once the construction concludes on The Source Hotel, it is sure to be a hot spot in Denver’s upcoming neighborhood of RiNO.

6. Jelly – Breakfast Restaurant

Capitol Hill Location- 600 E. 13th Avenue (@ Pearl Street) Denver, CO

Jelly has two different locations in Denver and is a favorite breakfast spot among Denver’s locals. You will find all of your favorite breakfast eats on their menu with a fun and delicious variation. They also have some to die for donut bites in an array of flavors—and you can even get them and several other menu items gluten free. If you’re looking for breakfast, this is one of the top places to eat in Denver.

7. Rio Grande – Mexican Restaurant

LoDo Location- 1525 Blake Street Denver, CO 80202

Margaritas anyone? People are in love with this fun Mexican food restaurant with locations all over Colorado. They even have one inside Coors Field. Their famous Rio Marg (that has a limit of 3) is a must-have even if you aren’t usually a margarita person.

8. Linger – Denver’s Finest Eatuary

2030 W. 30th Avenue Denver, CO 80211

Linger is a favorite of mine with a menu that is hard to choose from because it’s all so good. Weekend Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Happy hour- they have it all. Anytime you grab a meal here, you will be glad that you did. Be sure to grab a spot out on their rooftop when weather permitting.

Also, check out their sister restaurant Root Down.

9. Steuben’s – Food Service

523 E. 17th Avenue Denver, CO 80203

Remember the old diner feel that gives us all that feeling of nostalgia? This is Steuben’s, but think modern, high quality diner. This is definitely not your grandparent’s diner and they have something for everyone, REALLY. Their food/drink menu and atmosphere are the perfect trifecta for a good time. This diner themed restaurant became so popular that they expanded to a location out in Arvada as well.

Also, be sure to check out their sister restaurant right across the street- Ace Eat Serve.

10. Uncle – Ramen

2215 W. 32nd Avenue Denver, CO 80211

The growing Ramen trend has us all curious but not all Ramen’s are created equal. This is the perfect of all places to eat in Denver to get a sense for Ramen in all of its glory. Not a fan? No problem, this menu offers several other options ranging from pork belly sandwiches to a great appetizer offering. They keep it simple and delicious and offer great drink pairings such as sake and specialty cocktails.

Be on the lookout for their new location coming Fall 2018 to the West Wash Park on 95 S. Pennsylvania Street.
