Boca Kitchen is a fairly new restaurant in Sarasota that focuses on a farm to fork experience by using fresh ingredients sourced from local farms. My favorite at Boca is their “Yellowfin Tuna” served with delicious black rice, coconut broth, and baby bok choy. In addition to Boca’s excellent dishes, they also have unique decor such as hydroponic lettuce growing on the wall. Try to get reservations since Boca is usually busy and there is a parking garage behind the restaurant on State Street. Boca will definitely be a dining experience that you will not forget.

Kilwins, located on St. Armands Circle, is a great dessert place to try out after a long day at Lido Beach. Kilwins serves freshly made fudge, brittle, chocolate, and ice cream. They often make their sweets in the front of the store which is very fun to watch. I highly recommend trying any flavor of their fudge or ice cream. Both are extremely rich, creamy, and delicious. Pho 99 is conveniently located off of I-75 on Clark Road and serves the best Pho (Vietnamese Noodle) in town. In addition to serving pho, they also have other Vietnamese dishes such as fresh spring rolls, vermicelli, and shrimp papaya salad. My personal favorite is their seafood pho and shrimp spring rolls with a delicious peanut sauce. Even if you haven’t tried pho before, I highly recommend you make the trip to Pho 99 to have an excellent dining experience.
