FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD!!! Straight off of the menu… All these food places and too many to choose from, especially in the big city. I for one would go back for seconds at these go to summer food places. Down below I’ll list the 10 amazing food places in NYC to try this summer.

1) Black Tap: located at 529 Broome St, New York, NY 10013

One of the food places in NYC I’d highly recommend it, “Black tap”. It’s known for their wide variety of unique desserts, and creative food concoctions. So if you want a yummy sundae or a juicy burger, here’s the place to go. Try out their famous milkshake “Birthday cake” it seems like your average vanilla shake but is made with real birthday cake and strawberry. You literally feel like your putting your straw in a cake.

2) Pio Pio: located at 604 10th Ave, New York, NY 10036

Another one of the food places in NYC that may even become your next favorite spot is “Pio Pio”. Growing up me and my cousin would go to Portchester with our parents to have Peruvian food and it was our go-to area. But now as we are both in college, were in the city quite a bit and Pio Pio has become our go-to place for Peruvian food.

3) Tipsy Scoop: located at 217 E 26th St, New York, NY 10010

After a nice dinner and maybe even a drink or two this dessert may hit you harder than the drink you ordered after your food. This is one of the food places in NYC that could become your next favorite drinking/dessert stop. So stop down at tipsy scoop after your dinner. Tipsy scoop’s sundaes have at least 5% alcohol in every sundae. A dessert that makes you tipsy, a great new summer spot if your 21 that is to check out.

4) Serendipity 3: Located at 225 E 60th St, New York, NY 10022

This next is one of the many food places in NYC where a movie was made. “Serendipity 3” is known for the 2001 romantic comedy, “Serendipity”, I mean how cool is that! It has a cool 80’s vibe and that great dining experience. They’re known for their frozen hot chocolate, which is too yummy to pass up. Their prices aren’t too bad as you can get a veggie burger for $10, but if you really wanna blow some money they sell a sundae for $1000, must be made out of diamonds if you ask me, well just some gold flakes. Check it out and have a dining experience you’ll never forget.

5) Sugar Factory: located at 1991 Broadway, New York, NY 10023

The Sugar factory is very well known and I’m sure you’ve heard of it. I myself have had a tough time getting friends together with enough money to fully see through to a reservation but in the end, it’s all worth it! If you want an amazing sundae or milkshake, then you need to check out the sugar factory. Haven’t you seen all the celebrities that go there, even Kendall Jenner had her birthday at the Sugar Factory. It’s worth the hype if you have the money to spend.

6) Max Brenner Chocolate bar: located at 841 Broadway, New York, NY 10003

Max Brenner chocolate bar is known for all its yummy goodness. Max Brenner offers a variety of meals drinks featuring all types of chocolates. One of my personal favorites, mainly because when it comes to sweets I sway more towards the chocolate side and not the candy side. So if you’re like me you’ll enjoy this cozy little food place.

7) Big Slice of NY: located at 146 5th Ave, New York, NY 10011

Are you ready to try out Big Slice of NY?! If you like pizza, it might be time to see if you can gobble down a big slice of pizza. Check out the Big Slice of NY if you’re a pizza fan and this might just become your go-to summer spot.

8) Redeye Grill: located at 890 7th Ave, New York, NY 10106

Redeye Grill is great if you like sushi, and I for one am a huge sushi lover, so for me, this is the kind of spot I’d visit the most. Not only do they serve grade A sushi, but they’re known for the famous sushi burger. They even have live music and an array of cocktails. If this doesn’t sound like your new go-to summer lunch spot, then I don’t know what it is.

9) Johnny’s luncheonette: located at 124 W 25th St, New York, NY 10001

Johnny’s luncheonette is known for their yummy pancakes and all day breakfast. You could stop in here for breakfast or brunch. Enjoy some grade A breakfast this summer. Plus Johnny’s luncheonette has this old school diner vibe is the perfect set up for some long talks between you and your bestie for either breakfast or brunch. Regardless who doesn’t love a stack of pancakes in a diner, I know I do.

10) Sunac fancy food: located at 765 6th Ave, New York, NY 10010

Sunac fancy food is known for its amazing fresh/organic sandwiches and grocery goods. Surprisingly Sunac is not very expensive and offers lunch deals. I can already tell this would be a great spot for a summer lunch in.
