Almond Honey Cake With Strawberry Ripple Cream

The first stop on our list of cake recipes is a delicious and delicate almond honey cake with a strawberry ripple cream! This cake is mouth-watering good and the flavors of almonds, honey, and fresh strawberries will combine in your mouth to make one of the most wonderful tasting cakes you’ve ever tried. Here’s what you’ll need: 

For Cake:

  • 12 Tbsp (1, 1/2 sticks) Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 1/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Honey (divided, + more for serving)
  • 2 Tsp Lemon Zest
  • 1, 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Almond Flour/Almond Meal, Ground Almonds
  • 1, 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 Cup + 3 Tbsp Almond Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Slivered Almonds (toasted)

For Strawberry Ripple Cream: 

  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 4 Ounces Creme Fresh
  • 2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Cup Fresh Strawberries + More For Topping

Cream Cheese Pound Cake

  • 3 Cups (384g) Cake Flour
  • 1/4 Cups (60g) Buttermilk (at room temperature)

Perfect Cheesecake

Who doesn’t love a good slice of cheesecake? Especially when you find a recipe that calls it the “perfect cheesecake!” The ingredients are simple and delicious, and when you’re done making it you can enjoy the cheesecake with some fresh strawberries if you’d like! Here’s what you’ll need: 

For Crust:

  • 1, 1/2 Cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter (melted)

For Filling:

  • 4 Packages (8 oz. each) Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1, 1/4 Cups (250g) Superfine Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream (at room temperature)
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 5 Large Eggs (at room temperature)

For Topping:

  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream (at room temperature)
  • 2 Tsp Powdered Sugar

Homemade Hummingbird Cake

If you like a fruity cake with a tropical vibe, then the next stop on our list of cake recipes is perfect for you. This delicious homemade hummingbird cake is filled with bananas and fresh pineapples while it’s topped with a wonderful coconut cream cheese frosting! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 Cup (198g) Finely Chopped Fresh Pineapple
  • 2, 1/2 Cups (354g) All-Purpose Flour (divided, see recipe)
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 3/4 Cup (150g) Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup (150g) Light Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1 Cup (235ml) Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1, 1/2 Cups (366g) Overripe Bananas (mashed)
  • 1 Cup (100g) Pecans (toasted and finely chopped + more whole pecans or chopped for decorating if you’d like)

For Frosting & Topping:

  • 12 Ounces Cream Cheese (nearly at room temperature)
  • 3/4 Cup (170g) Unsalted Butter (nearly at room temperature)
  • 4 Cups (480g) Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1, 1/4 Cups (95g) Sweetened Shredded Coconut (toasted if you’d like)

Mama’s German Chocolate Cake

Lastly we have a wonderful German Chocolate Cake. This cake is perfectly moist and every bite has just the right amount of chocolate taste to it. Not to mention the wonderful coconut-pecan frosting. You really need to bake this cake ASAP! Here’s what you’ll need: 

  • 2 (4-ounce) Packages Sweet Chocolate Baking Bars
  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Butter (softened)
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 4 Large Eggs (separated)
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cup Buttermilk
