10 Affordable Online Clothing Stores For College Students

Well, the time has finally come and it’s time to start packing up your things to head off to your new home for the next four years of your life. However, with all the different college essentials you need to buy, trying to update your wardrobe from your high school years may turn out to be a costly thing. However, the following 10 online clothing stores for college students are sure to help any college kid achieve a trendy look without burning a hole in their wallet!

*Although this article is targeted for girls, all of the following websites have a large selection for guys as well!

1. River Island

This UK based brand is all about traditional, stylish clothing, that comes with quality assured. If you want to purchase from an online brand that lasts, then we definitely suggest River Island!

2. Forever 21

This is on my list for many reasons, but mainly because this should be every college student’s go-to store! Not only are their styles always up to date with the current trends, the prices are AMAZING for such great quality pieces!

3. Missguided

Out of all the shops I will be mentioning, this one is definitely one of the more expensive ones. However, they always have great deals, especially for college students (see their student discount options) and have over 30+ pages worth of items $20 and under!

2. PrettyLittleThing

As you will start to notice, the next couple of stores all have similar aesthetics to that of Forever 21. Good prices, cute outfits…what’s not to love?!

3. Papaya

Number 3 on my list, Papaya is a sassy yet trend-setting shop that is taking the world by storm. I have not seen many physical locations of this store, but their stylish trends make up for it (not to mention again that their prices are 10/10.)

5. Mango

This store is one I recently discovered and was pleased to find that they have affordable clothing that’s very sleek and chic. This store has a more sophisticated maturity to it, but nonetheless has good prices, which is sure to make any broke college kid happy as can be!

6. Boohoo

At number 6 on my list, this store is definitely your go-to for trying to find an outfit that resembles the style of celebrities such as Kylie Jenner or Youtuber Olivia Jade, but also for if you are pressed on savings!

7. ASOS

ASOS is just one of those stores where you will find something you like no matter what. They have items that range from grunge to girl next door. So don’t let the items that yield $100+ scare you away, trust me you’ll be glad you stuck around for their great deals!

8. Zaful

Compared to the other stores, Zaful is a one-of-a-kind online shop. It has vibes of those of an Australian boutique with an exceeding amount of cute swimsuits for all body types. This is also the perfect website for purchasing cute dresses/rompers for events such as family barbecues or even sorority activities without handing over too much money!

10. Marshalls

Similar in selection, Marshalls makes my list as the final store that college kids must go to because of its unique essence and selection of items. Despite the fact that they don’t have a website, walking in and experiencing all that Marshalls has to offer is what makes it an overall great store.
