5) Sunrise / Sunset

If you’re all about the views, then this is a perfect adventure for you! Find a place in your town where you can watch the sun rise or set. A pro-tip from an avid sunrise/sunset viewer is to find the highest point in your town and watch from there! You can set up a picnic blanket and sit and watch. Or you can go on a walk during the time. This is peak views time.

6) Camping

Time for a camping adventure, and your town is a perfect place to start! Sleep in a place other than your home in your own town. It is like you have left to go on vacation, but you are still in your town. This is a great activity to do with your people. If you’re looking for a cheap and fast get-away, then this is definitely an adventure option for you! Make sure you are allowed to be on the land that you camp on. Some parks have rules on camping and it is recommended that you find the nearest camping site. Camping sites are a safe route to go and usually provide you with a fire pit and restrooms!

7) Scavenger Hunt

Now, let’s talk competition. Adventures that involve games are unforgettable! The scavenger hunt game around your town is a fun day activity to do with your people. What you need to do is to have a “game-maker” create a map that leads clues around the town to reach the end. This is like a treasure hunt! You can play in teams or individually. The “game-maker” can make the game as easy or as hard as they want. Get store clerks involved in giving clues. Make the competitors think hard to solve puzzles and clues. This is a fun game to play with kiddos, but also with adults!
