If you go to U of A, you know that fashion plays a huge role whenever you’re making an appearance somewhere. Whether it’s Thursday late nights or a roof top party at the Hub pool, you’re stressing about an outfit. Right now I’m going to show you the major trends that caught everybody’s attention this past football season. Keep reading if you want to check out the cutest gameday outfits at University of Arizona!
This was a huge trend throughout football season. Girls would grab their Arizona T-shirts and cut under the collar in a V shape to create a fun and artsy look!
If you’re trying to stay cool under the Tucson sun and have a simple U of A T-shirt that you’re willing to cut, this is the look for you. First, you cut off the sleeves and chest part of the shirt to create the tube top. Then, cut individual half-inch slits along the sides and tie the loose pieces together. Super cute and edgy.
This is a more comfortable look, but it shows confidence that you can go out to a tailgate and rock an oversized shirt. Pair this with high socks and Converse or Adidas!
Bodysuits took U of A by storm this tailgating season. You can wear them with anything and they literally look good on everybody. The best things to pair this look with are skirts or jean shorts!
Wearing a jersey was a very popular look to serve. Oversized or cropped, either is adorable! Plus, it’s a great way to show school spirit and look cute.
Jean shorts are a staple in a girl’s closet, especially living in the desert. The most frequent thing worn was jean shorts, high and low waisted. Jean shorts match with literally anything and go great with U of A colors.
You can’t go wrong with this look. If you were wearing overalls at a tailgate, you were straight killin’ it! It’s so fashion-forward yet so simple and easy to wear.
Skirts were absolutely HUGE in tailgate fashion. They ranged from flowy uniform style to denim and it made the classic gameday look! Denim skirts definitely weren’t the most comfortable, but hey beauty is pain.
Game days are usually about 95 degrees or hotter, so if you’re like me, you’re going to wear the least amount of clothes as possible without looking questionable. Bandeaus are they way to go! Basically, they’re super small tube tops and you won’t be burning hot in a T-shirt. Also, last tailgating season “underboob” was a huge trend and was mostly achieved by wearing bandeaus. Best paired with high waisted bottoms!
Now we have to put the final touches on your perfect game day look! The most popular were the bandanas, funky sunglasses, and the cute face stickers. These small accessories promise an adorable outfit. Side note: if the bandana looks too extra around your neck, put it in your hair to make a cute headband!
