10 Adorable Gameday Outfits at University of Florida

Gameday season is in full swing and some might say it’s one of the best parts about being a Gator. But when it comes to trying to figure out what to wear, it is not so fun.  Luckily, if you have been to a few games it is easy to pick up the outfit vibe. But if you have not, here is a list of 10 adorable gameday outfits at the University of Florida.

Shorts are always the move

We live in Florida. It is hot. All the time. Which means most of the outfits you will put together will include shorts high-waisted, low rise, midi…you get the idea. Shorts are easy and a simple gameday bottom to wear because you can add anything else and still look cute. The go-to is to cut up a Gator T-shirt and add a pair of shorts. Easy. You can never go wrong with shorts. Add a crop top and some converse and you’re set.

Skirts are cute too

Skirts are just like shorts in terms of ease and cuteness. You can wear virtually any kind of top and a pair of sneakers. If you are going to wear a skirt, make sure you check the weather. One word: windy.

Rompers, Rompers, Rompers

Rompers are super cute for gameday because they are simple. There is no hassle in finding a top or bottoms; it is all-in-one. They do not have to be Gator colors; as long as they are trendy and cute you can’t go wrong.  They are also very comfy and flowy; compared to tight shorts or crop-tops.

Jersey’s and Overalls

Jersey’s are a simple look too. They come in orange, blue and white. You can never go wrong with a jersey. Overalls are cute, but be careful. They can look really wrong, really quick. Pro tip: buy a mesh jersey. You will save money and you will not be drenched in sweat on gamedays. The other jerseys are thicker and cost around $90.

What we don’t wear on gamedays

Sometimes you will get lost in the idea of wanting to look so cute and that is fine. Just be sure to not go overboard on those gameday outfits.  What do I mean by that? Here is a visual:

Yes, they are cute but not something you would wear for a gameday. You would definitely win the competition for the most spirit. But on gameday that is not what we are aiming for. Stick to the cute and trendy clothes and you will be set.

I know it can be intimidating and I would be lying if I said most people do not have that “first gameday” moment. But you learn and besides, gameday’s are all about having fun and cheering on your Gators.

Just gotta look good doing it.
