Friendsgiving is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday with your besties! Here are 7 crock pot recipes to impress your friends!

As exciting as Thanksgiving is, Friendsgiving has a different type of excitement that has its own value. Getting together with old friends and eating good food (not from a cafeteria) is like its own special heaven. Although Friendsgiving is amazing, living on a college budget isn’t quite as great. Below are seven easy crock pot recipes to impress your friends at Friendsgiving that you will actually be able to cook- and afford!

1. Crock Pot Mac & Cheese

You can’t go wrong with Mac & Cheese, and having it simmer in a crock pot makes it even better. Just throw in 16 oz of (cooked) elbow noodles, ¼ cup of butter, 3 cups of cheddar cheese (shredded works the best), 3 cups of milk, and 8 oz of Velveeta into your crock pot and set it to low heat. Stir it and put ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese on top. Stir it on and off for the next two hours and check to make sure it is fully cooked after two hours. The time it takes depends on what time of crock pot is being used (typically takes between 2 and 3 hours.)
