Fast fashion, clothing is something that is becoming a problem in today’s world because this is clothing that is produced very quickly and is something that has a very significant negative impact on the environment, this can be because of all of the different things like greenhouse gases, water pollution, lots of waste management and the ways that they dispose poorly of unsold clothing. Although this may have a negative impact on the environment, it is a great way to make money quickly for these companies as they are able to change the styles quickly and come out with new looks and designs for each and every single season with ease. Since these clothes are made so quickly, they are able to be sold at competitive pricing and they are able to be purchased just as fast as they are made. A lot of people like fast fashion because they are able to hop on the fashion trends very swiftly and because of this they are able to be produced and sold very quickly some good examples of fast fashion, clothing would be Zara, Forever 21, Primark, BeBe, and H&M. All of these clothing brands are known to be trendy and are able to produce multiple seasons of clothes within just one season in reality. This is something that is in such high demand that it is going nowhere in the near future and is only going to get worse and worse on the environment, companies like Shien are so big now that they are taking over globally and are available in every single country in the world. Some ways that these companies are problematic can be related to poor working conditions which a lot of them have, and very high levels of toxic chemicals which creates a lot of toxic waste on the earth.

Luxury fashion is something that is amazing for the world, the main thing about luxury fashion that is so great is the fact that luxury fashion is able to be resold on the luxury reselling market which is huge in the world right now. Quality really is more important than quantity, having a pair of jeans that is $250 versus $25 is going to give you a lot more wear and tear over the years, I have a pair of jeans that was $350.00 from Rag and Bone, and I have had these jeans for five years and honestly, they still look brand new, this is not something that you are going to see when purchasing a pair of jeans from Zara or H&M. Luxury fashion is a really great way for people to have a sense of belonging or help them increase how they feel about themselves, although this is not the case for most people it is for some. Personally, I would rather buy a pair of jeans that cost me $300 versus $25 because I know I am going to get the wear out of them and be able to wear and use them for multiple years. Luxury fashion is a great way to keep things exclusive and help the companies give you an experience that you are going to remember, when you walk into the Louis Vuitton store you are greeted with the utmost respect and most of the time are given a glass of champagne or offered something to eat, you are not going to get this with fast fashion. Most employees working for a fast fashion company are not even going to give you the time of day, they don’t have the time to do that, and it is not something that is in their job description. Luxury fashion is something that is starting to deplete because of how much people like fast fashion, although fast fashion is fun because there is so much coming out at once it is really nice to have a great cashmere shirt that will last you for multiple years the shirt could be $500 but it will be the best $500 that you have ever spent if you were able to get 500 wears out of it. The craftsmanship that goes into luxury items is unbeatable, a bag that is hand-stitched and handmade versus coming off an assembly line is going to give you that wear and warranty that will last a lifetime.

When talking about the better buy, it is obvious that luxury fashion, clothing although is not as affordable as fast fashion is the better buy. quality over quantity is something that I have always said, and I will continue to say, you do always get what you pay for. if you want to have good service and a memorable experience when purchasing clothing or any item for that matter the luxurious route is the way to go. At the end of the day fast fashion companies do not care about their employees or who is making the clothing that the consumers are buying they only care about the money that is going to be earned. While these luxury fashion houses take the time to ensure the quality of their items and want you to have a memorable experience in their store, so you will come back and be a repeat client. Something you really have to consider when purchasing luxury fashion is that once you are done with that item you are able to resell the item for just as much as you purchased it, this is something you will not see in the fast fashion companies as they are just looking to make a profit. Something to think about when going into these luxury stores is you are able to make a connection with a client advisor and be able to come back and shop whenever you want or have them send you pictures of items that you like and sometimes, they will ship directly to you.
