Thinking about life after graduation can be a scary thing. One of the most important things to consider is where you want to end up living. Here are 10 of the best cities to start job hunting in throughout the US as a young working individual.
1. Chicago
If you are coming from a Big Ten university in the midwest, chances are a good amount of your graduating class is moving to Chicago to pursue their career and live their best life as young 20 somethings. Chicago is a great place to move after graduation, it is the New York of the med west! So many young professionals your age, so much to do, so much to see, and it is centrally located making it easy to travel to and from. The job opportunities are also a great plus. lots of jobs, lots of options, and lots of big companies hiring newly graduated people. The night life is also great for meeting new friends and people in general! With dozens of cozy Irish pubs that draw in a great crown of young people to all the crazy sports bars luring in fans from around the city, there is always a great place to go out. AN din a city like this, you can go to a new place each weekend and never get bored! Another awesome plus is you do not need a car. Now many people do still drive in Chicago, but it is definitely not necessary with the public transportation system that had trains running both above ground and under ground. Your life will feel like a movie in New York City. Eventually you will find your very own Sex and the City gang and even a Mr. Big or two. Moving to New York will be incredible right out of college, but be prepared for the struggle that lies ahead.
