Top 10 Seattle Hotels Tourists Must Stay At

Going to the best Seattle Hotels will guarantee an incredible trip to this wonderful city. Below I listed my top 10 Seattle Hotels guests must check out!

1. Red Lion Hotel Bellevue

Fun fact: this is the hotel I stayed in when visiting Seattle. It was a really good deal since it is located in Bellevue, a city cheaper than Seattle. However, it is not too far away. It is conveniently located near the downtown Seattle bus station. I was able to pay 3.25 for the express bus to downtown Seattle. It only took 20 mins.

If you are on a budget, I would recommend staying at this hotel. Not only is it a great value but it also provides lovely and cozy rooms!

2. The Edgewater Hotel

The Hotel does what it says in the title. It goes over the water edge! It is a pier that stands over Elliot bay, providing incredible views of the water, Olympic mountains, and the skyline with Mount Rainier in the back. It is definitely one of the most picturesque hotels in the area.

The theming is also top-notch! It follows a Northwestern Lodge design meaning there is wood everywhere. It will make you feel like you are lodging in the middle of the woods when in fact you are downtown. The decor will make you feel warm and cozy!

3. Silver Cloud Inn

The Silver Cloud Inn is a hipster hotel that offers great and spacious rooms. It also offers incredible views of the Lake Union area. The building itself is small but has so much personality. And since it’s located a little off downtown, you get to escape from the overwhelming energy of the city center.

This Hotel is also considered a great value. It offers decent rates that are not as expensive as the more premier locations in downtown Seattle. The best part is that it is only a 10-minute walk from the center of the city. You would not miss out on much when staying here.

4. Moxy

This is probably the most hipster hotel you will encounter in the area. Moxy follows a very Avant-Garde design that makes you feel like you are in an NYC apartment. It is also full of the wackiest art designs that are bestselling today. The rooms are super rustic and swanky. If I were to stay here, I would have thought I accidentally ran into an artist’s flat.

The location is excellent. It is a 5-minute walk from the city center, making it one of the more convenient hotels!

5. The Inn at Pleasant Beach

Across the bay from the city lies Bainbridge Island. The islands consist of different neighborhoods forests and natural excursions. The Inn at Pleasant Beach will provide an ultra pleasant experience by the bay.

The building is like an antique brick building. It reminds me of a coastal New England house. It looks absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are super luxurious and would make you feel like you are staying at a golf club for millionaires.

6. The Alexis Royal Sonesta

This boutique hotel is the talk of the town. She is luxurious, iconic, Gucci, and she is the moment. Like the Moxy, this hotel is pretty hip. There is a slightly rustic feel to the decor but still retains that classic Ritz Carlton vibe.

The Hotel sits on top of a hill near the bay, providing awesome views of the pier, Olympic mountains, and Bainbridge Island. It is definitely a win if you want some of the best views. You would also feel royal with the sophisticated rooms.

7. The State Hotel

This hotel is tiny but giant with personality. It is a super artsy hotel that is full of nothing but good vibes. The exterior is a historic building that was built a while ago but the interior is completely different. The walls are covered in gorgeous flower artworks dangling around. It is a sight to see.

One big highlight of the Hotel is the rooftop restaurant and bar. It offers incredible views of downtown, the bay, and Pike Place Market. You can watch all the consumers buy their goods at the market as you are eating your goods. And yes, it is steps away from the world’s best marketplace!

8. Sheraton Grand Seattle

For people who want to stay with a recognizable brand, the Sheraton Grand will provide a grand experience for guests. The rooms are world-class like the brand, there are multiple dining locations inside the building, and there are many convention centers that house many events.

It sits at the heart of downtown Seattle, making all attractions a small walk away. It is perfect for people who are not ready for an alternative-looking hotel. Plus, Sheraton rewards members can win points when staying here.

9. The Art Inn

Speaking of art, this hotel will give you the most comprehensive journey in this field of focus.

This hotel is actually an ensemble of leased houses repurposed as a lodging facility. You would actually get an air B and B experience with this location. This little Inn has a ton of original artwork in its lobby, rooms, and gallery. Yes, there is a gallery in this house and it features the art of Washington State landmarks such as the Space Needle, Olympic Mountains, and Mount Baker.

This place is perfect for those who want to save some cash and still experience a great/unique lodge. There is definitely no place like the Art Inn!

10. Paradise Inn at Mount Rainier

I’ve been here! I cannot believe I’ve been there! Oh my god! So… this is a legit Lodge sitting on the side of a snowcapped active volcano. I recently did a tour around Mount Rainier and fell in love with it. When we reached Paradise, it was one of the prettiest sights I have ever seen! It was a white Christmas when I visited (even though it was late October) and I felt like I was in Narnia. The two hours of being in this Paradise were incredible, but staying overnight must be a dream come true!
