You could simply just take a picture of someone standing in the middle of the storm. If it’s the dead of winter and all you see is snow then take photos of friends in color outfits to contrast against all the white. The weather can be your friend if you let it. Don’t let the weather affect your shoot, instead turn it into something different and use it to your advantage.
Use Fairy Lights
Gorgeous and affordable fairy lights are a great addition to any indoor photoshoot. As a new photographer fairy lights are going to be a great way to up your photography game. Have them wrapped around your subject for a beautiful and colorful glow. You could string the lights in the background just to have them blurred out and your subject in focus. You could even keep the fairy lights close up to the camera and just blur them out so you can see the subject peaking through. It’s such an easy hack but it makes for stunning and glowing pictures any new photographer could take.
